Family owned for more than 100 years, Bergeron Construction of Keene, NH has built a well deserved reputation for top quality construction and craftsmanship, reliable project management, and people you can count on. With owner Ed Bergeron being just the third generation removed from the company's co-founder, and the current average employee tenure of 18 years (and growing!), the construction knowledge and experience at Bergeron Construction is second to none in the region.
Founded in 1909, Bergeron Construction has not only been a part of the community over the last century, but it has also helped shape and define the region. Early projects include the Keene Factory (currently Home Health Care) on Marlboro St. Keene built in 1920, and the Latchis Theater in Brattleboro VT also built in the 1920's. Hillsborough High School was built in 1932, and the Sumner Knight and Family Memorial Chapel (Woodland NE Cemetery, Keene) in 1933. Fuller School (Keene, NH) was built by Bergeron Construction, and renovations to many other schools including the old Roosevelt School, Benjamin Franklin Elementary and others. The Trinity Lutheran Church, United Church of Christ, and St. Bernard's Perish all relied on Bergeron Construction for renovation work. When NE telephone needed a dial exchange built in the area, chances are Bergeron Construction was on the scene. Other projects completed over the years included the Indian Motorcycle Factory in Springfield MA, the Elks Lodge in Keene (1962), The Salvation Army in Keene, and more recently additions to the Keene Community Kitchen, Keene Red Cross, Syd's Carpet & Snooze Room, and many other organizations and businesses. Today, Bergeron Construction continues to impact the area.
Aside from the 10,000+ homes that we have worked on (including thousands of repeat customers), Bergeron Construction has also recently completed projects like the Spofford Fire Department, 20+ unit Senior Housing in Newport & Winchester NH, Sunset Tool in Keene, additions and renovations to Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring in Stoddard, and many other projects in the area. Whether you are in one of the many homes we have worked on over the years, shopping around downtown Keene, golfing at one of the local courses (Keene Country Club, Bretwood, or The Shattuck), or eating at a local restaurant (Ramunto's, Papagallo's, Thai Garden), it is clear that Bergeron Construction has had their part in helping this community grow. Looking ahead, we will continue to evolve our practices to accommodate the ever changing industry. I was extremely glad we chose them. The whole process was well thought out. What i really liked the most was they made sure I was inconvenienced as little as possible. They made sure that everything was ready to go before they started taking everything apart, which was perfect because I was only three weeks without the use of my kitchen.

They were very pleasant and professional. I am satisfied with the workmanship and I think they did a good job. I wasn't sure how it was going to work between the insurance companies estimate and Bergeron's estimate but it got sorted out. It was overall a very good experience.

Everyone at Bergeron Construction has been incredibly professional and responsive. Our lead person, Rick, communicated with me throughout the project, and worked around our schedule (Bergeron had to repair the damage of a burst pipe in a building with multiple staff working). Rick was great at working with the insurance adjuster; and the whole on-site team were respectful and very easy to work with on a daily basis.

Bergeron Construction were a bright light in a very dark time for my family. After our pipes burst and an electrical fire they came in a handled the mitigation and in turn took care of everything related to the project of making our home livable again. Mark and Team kept me in the loop all of the way through the process and went above and beyond to get us back into our home as quickly as possible. We will never be able to thank them enough.

Additional Comments - I hope they last forever! It's the old fashioned value they try to continue, to do the right thing and not cheat anyone. It's all about customer service where you just trust them so much you don't worry about it. Every time the bill comes in, it's a little less.

Problem Resolution - They were unbelievably terrific and quick on the instillation of 25 windows. There was a rubber part hanging and the owner came within an hour and then send Anderson to fix 13 of them!
