Boardwalk design was very easy to deal with, they understood my goal and worked with me to achieve both my budget and design goals. The construction team was knowledgeable, clean and also understood the design goals. They didn't just blindly follow the design if it didn't make sense when they got into the details.

Boardwalk was engaged to do a complete deck renovation. They did an amazing and professional job. The craftsmanship is of the highest level and the crew performed in a professional and responsive manner at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Boardwalk to my friends and family .

We had an existing pressure treated deck that needed replacing and redesigning. Paul Zachman of Boardwalk Design, Inc. worked with us to come up with the design that we were hoping for, offering thoughtful and helpful options to our vision. Julie in the office kept us informed pleasantly and promptly. Dustin and Paul, the two craftsmen who built our deck had considerable experience not only with deck building but with many aspects of construction, so when unexpected issues came up that past experience was key to problem solving our particular situations. They had the knowledge to build Paul's design not only to code, but with the lovely details that are the hallmark of a beautiful, well-made deck. We can't say enough about how impressed we were with their knowledge and care--they are amazing builders and artisans.

The old adage that "you get what you pay for" is true about Boardwalk Design. The entire project was probably the first time I have ever been 100% satisfied with anything! Great workmanship from the design phase to the completion.

I was totally satisfied, from start to finish. I had a quote from another company. That brief experience was so bad, it gave me something to compare Paul to, which helps put it in context. Even when we were pretty much agreed on the design, at the last minute I asked to make changes and that was no problem.The men that did the installation, were courteous, respected the landscape and really cared about the finished product.
