Building Lab

building Lab, a design-build firm located in Oakland, California was founded in 2001 by Stephen Shoup, who studied architecture at UC Berkeley and the Architectural association in London. Shoup, a licensed California contractor, is a certified green building professional. On every project, building lab strives to achieve the seamless integration of design and construction for their clients. They often manage projects in-house from initial concepts to final finish details, including, in many cases, the fabrication of custom cabinetry and landscape design.
