Couto Construction was founded in 1987 as a family business and remains one today, run by brothers Jason and Derek Couto. The company specializes in roofing, siding and gutters, using top-notch materials while promising excellent craftsmanship. Couto Construction is the area’s only Owens Corning Platinum Preferred contractor, is an Angie’s List Super Service 2017 Award winner and maintains an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Along with older brother Brian, the quality control and project manager, the brothers pride themselves on reputation in the community. They learned from their father Gil, who founded the business, that a happy customer ensures a bright future for their business.

They were one of the best construction and contractor experiences that I have had.

We initially had an issue with the placement of the dumpster. They responded on a Saturday to relocate the dumpster to where I wanted it. That is high marks for a company in my opinion.

I couldn't have asked for a better company to take care of the issue. They were an extremely good company and they were professional and knowledgeable. We sat at my kitchen table and were clear we wanted the Platinum package. I was clear that we were shopping prices. Couto representatives said clearly that they would price match. we received their quote a little over $12,000. We got a quote for the same platinum package from Olyn Roofing. their quote...

Couto Construction did a very professional job on my roof. easy to talk to.

Several other construction companies that also do similar work, and also advertise on local radio, could flat out, not do the work and did not even consider taking the job. The said there were technical problems with a window near the roof. Couto did the work - without blinking an eye - and did it very well.

This should have been an easy job. The lack of project management and administrative has made this a very frustrating experience. Too many details to put here but summary workers were lat due to a broken down truck not communication, I had to constantly call, workers showed up without a ladder, no communication...
