In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Hammer and Nail Exteriors did a great job with our new front door and storm door! Love them both and the job was well done. When the crew was finished they cleaned up nicely. Our new door is very secure and the color is fantastic!

Everyone at Hammer and Nails, from the salesman to the workers, knows windows and doors. They are no nonsense and you get a great value for your money. Everything is up front with no hidden costs. They are very easy to work with. I recommend them to anyone wanting window and /or door replacement.

Time will tell how well our new Marvin windows work and last and how well the installation proves to be...but.all the signs so far are excellent. They look great. They work great. And the installation seems fine.

Hammer and Nail Exteriors is a quality organization from which to buy Marvin windows; specifically the Infinity line of fiberglass windows. Hammer and Nail installers did a great job once they finally got to the job. Order date for the job was March 29, 2014. Installers arrived on July 17, 2014 and finished the next day. I had 16 windows and 2 sliding glass doors replaced. They were very professional, they met their deadlines, and were clean. I have no complaints, and I'm very happy with their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in replacing their windows or doors.

If you want to spend tens of thousand of dollars on window installation with no chance to make small changes or request additional work then I highly recommend Hammer and Nails Interiors

While you are in negotiations with the sales person, make sure you get everything they state in writing. We had issues with this originally and it was not resolved until further issues arose and we had to discuss the problems with someone higher up in the company. Also, make sure you are present when...

The installation of our windows was well done in the end, but it took much longer than they had promised. The workers were exceptional, but the project coordination was not. I was not happy that I had to pay extra for exterior painting at the end of the project.

The entire experience was a miserable mistake! Somehow I have to find a way to sell these windows, as the Owner told me he could "fix" these windows, but it would cost me. That's the last thing I need - to pay his company more money!!! These windows CANNOT be fixed to be acceptable to the Kentlands Citizens Assembly.
