I am likely to recommend Hurst Design Build Remodel to a friend. They are very organized and thorough. They are very family friendly. They take the family into consideration.

Everything about the build was exceptional. Communication, professionalism and quality all exceeded expectations. Even when issues arose they were handled quickly and efficiently to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

They are fantastic. We have already recommended to a few people. Quality, services, communication and ease to work with are all great!

It felt like too many people were involved. It felt like a result of that was haphazard communication. I was getting more communication and updates from the subcontractors and the lowest rung Hurst employees than I was from the proper chain of command at Hurst. Workmanship was excellent. I did have to point out differences in the design drawings and the actual work done. The problems were eventually rectified.

The process from start to finish was laid out for us at the beginning of our project. Detailed descriptions of what to expect such as an estimated time for completion the order in which the individual tasks would be done, information regarding the workers including names of those that we would see regularly, our project manager checking in every day open to questions or concerns and a weekly "sit-down" review of how things were progressing which was an excellent communication tool. These and many more aspects of our remodeling project combined for an excellent experience compared to previous projects we had done by other companies.

Excellent overall experience and the quality and attention to detail is superior. That said, their pricing lacks transparency and seems a tad "high," but I have little to base that judgement on. Overall, as I said, we feel it was worth it.

We have used Hurst twice now, so that should tell you quite a bit. We are happy repeat clients! Once for a kitchen, master bedroom, bath addition and remodel. This time for a laundry/mud room and garage addition. Their process is unbeatable. They are with you every step of the way to help you plan and choose your finishes. They answer emails, texts and calls almost immediately. They care about your opinion and vision during the design process. They listen. If something isn’t right, they fix it. Even years later, they make it right. Once the actual construction begins, they are in touch daily about progress, change orders, clarifications, etc. Their app is extremely helpful in monitoring progress, too. And if there ever ARE any surprises, they offer options and suggestions for how to best handle the situation in a professional manner. My kids actually MISS the team and our project manager now that they are gone. We are sad we don’t have MORE projects to complete, because they would absolutely get our business again. If you’re looking for a company that cares, does it right, and develops relationships along the way, there is none better. We can honestly say that we started as clients but we were treated like friends.

We were very impressed with the quality, communication and expertise exhibited by the Hurst team. From the first meeting with Pat to the final review, each person we encountered was knowledgable and professional. Catherine was helpful in making design decisions and decisive in her honest opinions of our project. She was always available and patient with our questions. Our weekly meetings with Kevin were early in the mornings and he was always on time and efficient with information. We chose Hurst for their organization in project management, and they certainly excelled in this area. This resulted in low stress for us with excellent results. Tom, Mario, Matt, Ian, and the floor guys and the trades all were polite and great to work with throughout our 8 week project. We have no complaints and only praises for this team of people. We are thankful to have had this positive experience with Hurst and look forward to planning another project with them!

Hurst is a professional, experienced remodeling company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any home remodeling project. We have used them for three projects now, a kitchen in our previous house and two basement rooms, one including custom shelving. The workmanship is topnotch, and any problems are addressed quickly. They know what they're doing.

My wife and I spent a lot of time agonizing on how to best do a kitchen remodel. We met with several contractors, but it was apparent from our first meeting with Hurst Design on who to select. We worked with Catherine and Pat as they presented a lot of ideas and suggestions. The whole team was great to work with and especially their carpenter Mike K. We love our new kitchen and all of our friends and family have been astonished with the transformation. I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent company to work with on any home project. Pat Hurst, Kevin and all of their employees and contractors were professional and did excellent workmanship. If something wasn't right, they made sure it was corrected. We had our kitchen and master bath remodeled by them. I would highly recommend them. We had a great experience with all of the Hurst team.

This is the second large project we have done with Hurst. It is always done with quality and no surprises. They even fixed a few things that a previous contractor left in a bad state. We are very happy with Hurst and would recommend them to anyone for a large or small project.

Hurst remodeling communication is excellent. The website used is very easy to navigate which allows you to look at pictures of the project and a timeline calendar. The project was finished on time even with some set backs. The Hurst team is very easy to work with, from design to construction. The Hurst remodeling team held my hand through the entire project providing ideas and resources for appliances, lighting, flooring, paint color, design, and much more. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Hurst made the remodeling process extremely easy and carried out the plan exactly as presented. The people involved all along the process were all highly professional and met all expectations. I would be glad to have every one of them involved when I decide to do more remodeling.

From the initial meeting through the design phase and ultimately to project completion, Hurst Construction exceeded our expectations. The employees and subcontractors were wonderful to work with - exhibiting professional workmanship and appreciation of us and our property. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted in our addition and the designer brought expertise that beautifully complemented and enhanced our vision. We are very pleased with the outcome.
