Klam was quick to respond and efficient in the installation. The estimate was very thorough and included a drawing of the scope of work that outlined in detail what areas would have specific products installed. This allowed to envision the work before it happened and also was useful to alleviate any miscommunication issues that could have happened during the project. The roof looks really great, and I feel they were very detail oriented.

The people we worked with at Klam were very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. The customer service was excellent - all of my questions were answered and I got the impression they really cared about my experience.

I was very pleased with the whole project start to finish. Of course roofs aren't things you do all the time but if I needed to do it again I would call them again!!

Contractor Knowledge - I was very impressed with the contractor. They were knowledgeable but not pushy. They were very honest. As the shingles came off we could see that the pieces of the roof they said needed more attention were accurate. They also helped answer all the questions we had some that even leaned more toward the solar panels we were planning to place after the roof replacement. They were very helpful in every aspect.

Klam stuck to their quote which was fair market value. It was nice to stick to the budget with great customer service all along they way.

Everything from start to finish went wonderfully. Making the initial appointment was easy; the owner's explanation of the work needed was thorough and detailed; Katie in the front office explained the schedule and arranged for samples, and was informative on what to expect during the work. The crew that arrived to do the work was polite, pleasant and did a wonderful job including clean-up. The price was fair. I can't think of a better experience. Klam construction was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad they did.

Have already recommended KLAM to anyone I know who owns a roof! This is the most positive experience I have ever had with a major home improvement project. I had "dreaded" having to replace my roof, but from the very first call with KLAM, their professionalism made it easy and enjoyable. Abel spent almost two hours assessing the situation, and explained in great detail what was needed. The communication was flawless (kudos Katie), the workmanship was outstanding (kudos Manuel), the hardworking crew made sure that every step of the process was professional. They kept the property spotless and corrected long-standing ventilation problems on my home, so the roof is now much better than new. I continue to be impressed by Abel, whose personal final inspection involved going up on the roof again and meticulously checking out every detail firsthand. This company is 100% a pleasure to do business with.

Also, despite the freezing temperatures in November when the work was done, the KLAM crew showed up early every morning with smiles on their faces and courteous attitudes. Also, the guys who showed up every morning. I mean temperatures were hovering around freezing at 7:30 am and the guys didn't look like they dreaded working that day. Klam Construction did an amazing job with my roof. The old roof and structure was damaged due to a prior poor installation and they did a great job of getting the roof back to looking great and being leak free. Both the owner and crew were very professional and got the job done in challenging weather conditions (windy and really cold).

This is the second time I have been using Klam Construction for a roofing project. The first time they reroofed a small church, and this time my home. The owner, Able, is extremely knowledgeable about roofing and roofing materials, and he gave me valuable advice about how to improve my roof at home so that the attic will be ventilated better, cutting down on heating costs. The whole crew, from Katie, the office person, to the workers who did the actual work, felt very harmonious, responsive and friendly -- a reflection of Abel's integrity and caring attitude.

I was concerned about the pricing/materials originally quoted. As the project was compared to other installers, pricing, details of the project, option for 10 - year or 50 -year warranty options, knowledge & teaching qualities of Abel; all of these aspects made it a much easier to choose moving forward & contracting with Klam.

Katie worked diligently to get appointments set, organized & samples to be delivered. She was gently focused on contracts & billing with a healthy humorous attitude. Thanks to all.

Getting a roof replaced is very expensive and stressful. We had to get ours replaced during the rainy season due to leaks. Out of all of the bids we received, we felt that KLAM provided the best product and service warranty for the money. They were also up front about which plywood boards needed to be replaced. Our house is old enough that it had sections with boards and some without. Abel was very informative during the bidding process and was the only one to provide a detailed diagram of how the roof venting system would look like on our roof. It was great to have this information and a sense of how things will look when the project is done. None of the other roofing companies we got estimates from provided that but wanted to replace all the plywood boards. We also had our chimney removed at a reasonably price compared to the other bidders. Katie at the front office was very responsive to any of our concerns or questions. Any issues that came up were resolved. We were initially given a time line of several weeks out, however a clearing in the weather for 2 to 3 days got us scheduled and the project was done in 3 days, just in time for some heavy rain. The job site was also kept clean in the evenings and any issues found during the final walkthrough were taken care off within a few days. We heard about KLAM through a friend, and I also see ourselves recommending them to others.
