Everybody I dealt with at Paul Davis Restoration was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They clearing explained any concerns I had about the work on the project and they did an outstanding job restoring my property to its original condition.

Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the way Andrew Layhee (?), the project manager, handled everything. He was wonderful, responsive, creative, thoughtful, and very respectful. He was great to work with.

From the afternoon our house burned, PDR took us "in" as far as securing our house immediately for safety, transporting contents to their warehouse for restoration with items that could be restored, provided a detailed list with items and serial numbers, etc., began immediately working directly with our insurance agent, whom they had worked with prior, and detailed every item required to re-build the entire home. Their appearance is professional, with clean & organized trucks, and the employees are a family that took us into their "family" and treated us a PDR family! Couldn't have asked for more; they take their work professionally & most importantly, personal! We all became friends, which is rare with contractors today. From the group that cleaned & restored our contents to the group that re-builds, each employee works within your best interest. My wife's wedding dress had cloth flowers that had faded from age, and one of the ladies used a recipe from her grandmother and hand cleaned each flower back to its white color, bring my wife to tears of joy. This is only one of numerous examples. Great company. Excluding the burned house (with no injuries), we stepped into luck by finding PDR, who actually found us. We are grateful to this day.

Areas For Improvement - Having never been through an experience like this, we did not know what to expect, so with that said, we had no prior expectations to fall short. In a stretch, I would say that the system that is required by insurance companies causes a customer to receive a report for items with an amount that can be misleading as to a budget. This is more systemic, as stated, rather than a PDR issue. PDR finally explained the process to help guide us through, offering their time to assist and be with us during times to select items.

Additional Comments - As with any project of this magnitude, frustrations occur at times from both parties, from schedule delays due to weather, etc., to, at times, vendor or sub-contractor delays, yet we always found a mature and business like way to resolve everything and move forward. PDR encourages their customers feedback during the project, whether negative or positive. They listen and take it serious and to heart until things are smooth again. The help and guidance was invaluable from suggestions of design to actual implementation. We now have a new and extremely nice place to call home again!

Probably not. That is because I moved to Texas and I am so far away. I had no choice, I was told by my insurance company that they were going to come in and seal my home and that is all they would do. If this is Paul Davis that restored my furniture, he did an excellent job. I don't mind doing the survey because they can be helpful. I am confused because I don't remember Paul Davis being the one who came out and sealed my house. I thought he restored my kitchen table and chairs. If it is that Paul Davis, he did an excellent job as far as my furniture.
