Richfield Homes is the worst company I have ever dealt with when purchasing a home. The city stated they wish I would have called before buying because they would have told me to run.

I don't think I can honestly refer anyone to Richfield Homes. Their disorganization, lack of quality control, poor communication, and inability to do things in a timely manner are simply to big of problems to ignore. This new home has been an exhausting process from start to finish. It has been a stressful challenge to get anything done properly. Many of the trades do poor quality work and then their warranty repairs are a "band-aid fix" and often ignore the root cause of the issue. Nothing of this home build was exceptional or exceeded expectations, but literally every single trade group in the process and every step along the way has had several issues that have left us very disappointed.

I also greatly appreciate the closing team (Amy) and also have appreciated support with TDS challenges from Sharla and Loni post closing. Oh and Rick with Warranty had quick response to help with 2 issues ( that may not have actually been issues haha. )

I felt that the options in the design center can be more diversified and updated. I felt very limited in options, many items that were in the model homes were not even available. The staff could have done a better job at assisting in making choices. For example, had I known that my master bathroom would have a huge moveable square in the middle of my shower I would have paid extra for it to be tiled. I skipped the cost to upgrade because I thought it would be just a single drain. Now I almost fall every time I step on it, and in my opinion makes my upgraded bathroom look cheap. Option to have at least front yard landscaping done, or bigger porch into outdoor living space/lanai (these options are available by many builders) option for window shades.

Quality is good for a tract home builder. The delays were unacceptable.

Additional Comments - I love the build of the richfield homes. They have made it a very pleasant experience.

It is frustrating we had to decide immediately whether we wanted a covered patio. We asked if we could include covered patio 2 days later and was told no. Permits had not even been submitted. We signed our contract the beginning of July and permit has yet to be approved. Would appreciate some status updates. Jeanne (sp), our design consultant was amazing.

At this point no. I am very unhappy with a couple of things not getting fixed in my home yet. The fact that so much was done poorly initially by the contractors, is also very concerning. It makes me feel like Richfield is out to make a buck, and the top priority is not to get competent contractors in to build the house.

Included Features - Richfield’s included features and even flooring in various areas are much more family friendly and require less changes than other builders. For example, solid surface throughout main floor. KB makes their buyers pay to offset tiles or change grout or even paint colors which is crazy! Richfield builds in reasonable choices to make it feel more inclusive.
