They took longer than expected and didn't fix my rain gutter as requested but I am very pleased with the roof and would gladly recommend others to use their services.
1st issue was a $5000 miss understanding on the gutter replacement. We wouldn't have replaced the gutters if it would have been communicated better.
2nd issue was that the weather caused the project to go over several days, but they didn't clean up the nails very well between days. We found several nails in the driveway after they left for the day and even after we cleaned up I still got a nail in my motorcycle tire.
3rd issue is that I have had several calls about making the final payment, but nobody had visited to make sure the work was done right. After complaining about the gutters, they don't care about the customer or the work. I hope I don't need to use the warranty because I don't trust that they will help.
This was a painful experience for me….order changes, delays , and terrible finishing details .. after I was paid in full they slapped a lien on my home wouldn’t take responsibility, ever. Said it was a supplier error. My contract was not with a supplier, and I had paid in full.. their attitude was basically “we can do no wrong, so get over it”. $$26841.47

I was disappointed that the drip edge was not replaced around the entire roof. In my opinion I believe they deceived me because they did not want to pull rain gutters and reattach. The insurance claims officer stated companies did it regularly.

I texted the sales person that my ridge vent has an “1 gap between the two ends of the plastic screen. Sales told me this was just the way it is gap between two ends. However, leaves and debris are getting in the gap and probably the attic. I told sales to get me in communication with someone to fix but I was told that’s just the way it is. This needs to be corrected.Thank you
Excellent work on the roof and materials, but sloppy work on the gutters. They are very noisy, especially in two of four downspouts, and drip all along the edge. We had the crew come back to adjust, but they didn't fix it well. Now my texts go unanswered. Found some shingles and nails recently in my yard that were missed during cleanup.
Zero rating if I could. Read the other bad reviews on yelp and there's a common theme: unfinished roof, roof leaking and interior damage, horrible workmanship, and deplorable customer experience starting immediately after you pay and sign the contract - they're great and responsive on the front end but after they get your money it's downhill to hell from there. They went 7 months without responding to our unfinished roof, 2 months without response to an active leak. When we refused to submit our final payment because of the interior damage and unfinished roof and after making over 20 attempts to contact them but no response, their upper management jerk Harold Jameson emailed at 10pm unleashing their lawyer and directing his team to file liens...no attempts to first try to work it out with their customer or address the issue. They must buy their Google reviews but don't let the 1.5k five stars fool you. Another well known roofing company that came out to fix their damage (at our expense) told me Rooftek is gaining a bad reputation with their shoddy work because they are trying to boost volume sales so they can be sold to private equity - but they can't keep up with the QUALITY or quantity of sales so they send out unqualified roofers and then slam you with the damages when your new 20k roof is leaking. They are in active litigation with several of their reviewers on yelp...there are probably many more. Run run run from this franchise, especially this salt lake one owned by Jake. Worst vendor ever. Reporting to every site I can to try to prevent this happening to others.
I really cannot. I was hopeful but I should have gotten a competitive bid. I trusted too much on this one.
RoofTek seems fine if everything goes well but when I had a problem (they broke a window) each contact passed to another, they didn’t follow through on promises or appointments and it took months to resolve.
The roofers were very efficient and fast at repairing and shingling our roof. They also did a fairly good job of cleaning up afterwards. I would suggest buying a magnet to make sure you get all the roofing nails out of the grass and flower beds as some can get away from the workers while the work is being done. The team at Rooftek did a good job of helping me understand how to work with the insurance company in the process. We are happy with the new roof that will last for years!

RoofTek never responded to my concerns with damage to my house and driveway after the job was done. All they wanted was to make sure they got all their money.

RoofTek performed well, with one exception. Quality was skipped over for quantity, with a shingle that doesn't allow that to happen. With a high-lighted shingle, the more common practice of adjusting to a rigid chalk-line pattern, all in one or two courses, does not work. Sticks out like a sore thumb. It might take 30 minutes longer to adjust each chalk-line by a small margin, instead of all at once. Lesson learned with our shingle.
I might, refer to an enemy but not a friend. I had talked to them about doing a third roof, but I will not use them now.
I used Rooftek to install a new roof and solar panels. As far as I know, the actual work was satisfactory. But it was (and continues to be!) such a hassle to work with Rooftek that I would not recommend them. I wonder if I'll discover at some point that the work isn't as satisfactory as I assumed.Communication was difficult, with texts and emails sometimes being replied to late or not at all. They flat-out failed to file the paperwork to get my roof installation scheduled. I had to call them after a couple of weeks and ask about it. There was no apology for the delay and inconvenience.I now have an issue with my attic fan that I think may have been caused during the roof installation. I called and they said they would have our original contact come out to look at it. Apparently that message never reached our contact until I called again to follow up. They then rescheduled twice, the last time giving no new date. It's two weeks later, nothing's been done and I have no idea when anything will be done. I am not confident that any future problems with the roof will be handled any better.
RoofTek was extremely professional and honest. They got the job done early and delivered everything they promised.
I would never recommend Roof Tek to anyone
