We used Topnotch Construction of North Bellmore, NY for our kitchen remodel in August 2018. The owner, Stephen and his wingman, Lou were such a pleasure to work with. They are talented at what they do, easily troubleshoot unforeseen problems, precise, polite, timely and take pride in their work. My family and I actually missed them when the project was over. Before hiring Stephen, we met with 12 other contractors! Obviously, that's pretty excessive but there was always something about each contractor that just didn't “sit right” with us. Upon meeting Stephen, it was as if all of the pieces fell into place – price, extent of work to be done, time frame and a sense of honesty that we got from him. Stephen walked us through the entire process from demolition to picking out cabinets and countertops to construction and completion. Toward the end of the project, Stephen mentioned that the old door frame between my kitchen and den wouldn't look too nice when seen against a brand new kitchen. He suggested that he rip it out and replace it with a new door frame. Being that the door frame was not mentioned in the contract, my first question was, “How much more will that cost me?” He said, “Nothing. I'm not going to charge extra for that. I just want the job to look as good as possible.” Who else does that nowadays? We were extremely pleased with Topnotch Construction and will definitely use them again for future projects.
