I was going to avoid a writing a review for Urbach Roofing, but since I have been hounded via E-mails and USPS requesting a review, here it is. Urbach Roofing was very professional up front when we signed up for a replacement roof. They failed to mention that it would be 3 months before the work...

The crew was very unprofessional. They were suppose to have it water tight before a storm came and they did not. It was a nightmare.

1.  Add insulation in walls and roof.  2.  Air seal your home. 3.  Install Low E or better dual pane doors and windows.

Many great answers here regarding insulation and air sealing.  If you have a pool, also look into upgrading your pump to a variable speed pump.  They run at lower RPM for filtering than they do for va ... read more
