WCI Group Inc.

WCI Group, Inc. was founded in 1950 by H.C. Wilson, an Army veteran and son of an elite master building craftsman.  H.C. got his start in St. Augustine offering all types of home remodeling and improvements including replacing windows, siding and more under the name Wilson Construction Industries, Inc.  (WCI)

As Wilson Construction Industries, expanded its service area, the company's offices were moved to their current location in Jacksonville Beach and the company name was shortened to WCI Group, Inc.  WCI Group, Inc. remained in the Wilson family for four generations from 1950 until 2015 and two of H.C. Wilson's great-grandsons still work there in key roles today. You may even recognize them as the remodelers featured on a local build for Extreme Makeover Home Edition with HGTV’s Ty Pennington.

In 2015, WCI Group, Inc. was acquired by another fourth generation builder, Darren Lee. Darren also got his start young in his family's construction business.  His extensive experience with general contracting and commercial/ residential building across two continents ensures that the WCI legacy will continue to provide exceptional quality, value, and service to its clients in Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties in northeast Florida for years to come. 

WCI Group, Inc.'s Renovations division specializes in residential with an emphasis on superior exterior renovations and high-end kitchen re-designs.  WCI Renovations is a preferred remodeler for brands like James Hardie ™, Simonton Windows™, ThermaTru™ anti-theft entryway systems and Waypoint™ cabinetry.  WCI GROUP, Inc. was the first general contractor in north Florida to offer a LIFETIME installation labor warranty in addition to any manufacturer's warranties to ensure years of client satisfaction and enjoyment and they are the EXCLUSIVE builder of LivingSpace(llc) Sunrooms in northeast Florida.

WCI Group, Inc. also has a Multi-Family/Commercial division which specializes in multi-family and light commercial renovations.  WCI Group, Inc. is fully licensed and insured, a member of Guild Quality and an accredited business with an A rating with the Better Business Bureau.  License CGC#1509162
