On 04/25/2023 my roof was completed and I was told someone from Allstate will contact me in the next couple of days.
On 05/09/2023 Dave sent me an email asking about my schedule this week, my reply was tomorrow 2.00pm is good.
Dave did not reply.
On 05/18/2023 I received an invoice from Allstate for the balance due, this was becoming more confusing because up to this date I still had not been contacted by Dave or any anyone from Allstate Exterior to explain anything.
On 05/23/2023 after calling Allstate Cape Coral office I was transferred to someone from accounting in the Ohio office and explaining to her that I received an invoice, part of which is the recoverable depreciation, and I signed a Direction of Pay Form requirement by Allstate Exterior for my Insurance Company.
The Accounts lady asked how much the recoverable depreciation was, after telling her, She told me to go ahead and pay, minus recoverable depreciation. She said that I can enter the amount I'm paying, she then got Dave on the phone and to call me.
Dave called me and made an appointment for 8.00am the next morning 05/24/2023, he never showed up or even call.
On 06/20/2023 I received a text from Dave asking what is a good time to come by ,my reply was this evening is fine.no response from Dave.
On 06/23/2023 I text Dave stating this is second attempt how does today sound? No reply
On 06/26/2023 Dave text and we made an appointment for 4.00pm, he also emailed me a payment request from Allstate Exterior for the recoverable depreciation, and an email stating I need to do a walk thru with you and settle the balance
That Evening Dave finally showed up and his first question was, what payment method I would prefer to use to pay for the balance, he then said 60 days after completion Allstate has the right to place a Lien on my property.
I asked Dave if he remembered having me sign a Direction of Pay Form that he said was required by Allstate Exteriors for the recoverable depreciation check from my Insurance Company
.
At this point Dave asked when ,I said the same day I signed the contract and paid the deposit, he started searching his laptop files and while he was doing so, I told him the Insurance Company will also require a certificate of completion
When he found the signed Direction of Pay form Dave then sent it together with a certificate of completion to my Insurance company (they never received) and a copy to me.
On 07/07/2023 I received by mail from Allstate Exteriors a Final Notice dated 06/27/2023 that my account is pass due which is the day after Dave Draves/ Allstate Exterior finally showed up.
I still have not gotten a walk through not even if I'm happy with the roof. Only Owens Corning will send the warranty to me when asked Dave about the warranty.
I called the # on the letter 740-852-2626 trying to explain and was told a message will be sent to the GM and he will get back to me but will not give me a phone number or email address to contact the owner when asked .
Allstate Exteriors required me to sign a Direction of Pay Form to deal directly for the recoverable depreciation final check from my Insurance Company
The outstanding balance for the roof has to come from the insurance company recoverable depreciation as agreed upon from the start. Hence the reason for me having to sign the Direction of pay form.
My Insurance Company was never contacted by anyone from Allstate Exteriors.
On 06/26/2023 when Dave from Allstate Exteriors finally showed up since the roof has been completed, he did not even remember having me sign A Direction of Pay Form required by Allstate Exterior to submitted to my Insurance Company to deal with them directly.
Instead, I am threatened with Delinquent payment terms for an issue that I am not at fault
In regards to the communication, there were delays with materials. I had to keep calling to see what was going on. It just happened, no one contacted me and said they were coming. We had kids getting on the bus and cars in the way. We had no heads up the days they were coming. The materials and vendors would just show up. We are still finding nails in our driveway.
Our roof looks better than any of the others in the neighborhood.
The representative that came to my house was very professional and knowledgeable.
I enjoyed them, and I loved the crew that they had. They had a great crew. When they left they left behind the products that they did not use. Other than that, you would not know I had a new roof. How they left, you did not know that arrived and showed up. I loved them. I would recommend them for anything. I have never seen a roofing crew that basically did not look like they exist. I loved the crew! It was a great experience. I am 100% in love with them.
They did a great job and the work looks very professional and well done. My salesperson was great to work with.
It was excellent workmanship from an outstanding crew.
I would recommend to make sure there is a timeframe in their agreement. That is what drug it out for so long after they pushed to get the insurance payment, and then it was like a disappearing act. I would talk to the salesperson continually, and then they vanished. Finally, I started to ask about when they would be starting, and it kept getting kicked down the road. I have had that happen before and, unfortunately, it is common practice when you get a downpayment. Once you give some money, it changes.
Highest quote, I feel like they delivered value for the money
They were excellent and very professional. I would recommend them and would hire them again.
My roof, fascia and gutters all look awesome.
I thought the project manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
They did good work.
The only slight issue I had was that I met with the salesman, and he was supposed to call me to give me the date. He did not call. Someone else called me the following week because he was sick. I did not know what was going on when a different person called.
I was sold a 5-star experience, and I did not get a 5-star experience. They did not live up to their ed of the bargain on any items. I would not recommend them.
The products that we got are as promised but the quality of service and professionalism of Allstate Exteriors is not what we expected. We are not satisfied with this company.
I was surprised to learn about the damage that was being done to my roof. I wasn't expecting that because we had had a new roof put on, ten years ago. He was very thorough in showing and explaining everything to me.
I am very pleased with the installation!
Allstate Exteriors, Inc. did quality work at a great price. Everyone was extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend them.
Eric was very good to us. He was very professional and we appreciate the quatily work.
It was expensive, but seems to be worth the cost.
They were very attentive to the work while it was in progress. There was a project manager here on a regular basis. They worked well with our insurance company. They made sure we were able to get the max available for assistance in paying for our roof. Every person I talked to at the company was very courteous. It was a great experience.
The quality of the product and the workmanship are excellent but the customer service is poor.
Everything turned out really great.
We also had them install siding and from the issues with that and the lack of communication, I wouldn't recommend them.
