Comments
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

We recently contracted with Brillo for our fourth project and have never been disappointed in any of their work. We receive many compliments on their design and final result. Melissa had a fifth sense as to how we envisioned the project and how to tie the entire project into our house. We couldn't be more pleased.

I actually do not understand what material they use or if the job completely solved the problem. It's hard to tell at this time. But the guys who did our job seemed to be diligent and hard working and taking good care of our house.

The client requested an explanation of work and on 08/20/2012 received this response from us:
"The window leaked because of failed caulk, no flashings and the mull flashings were hanging down.
Jim removed the siding, applied window flashing tape, metal flashings and Tyvek over the top, re-applied the siding, re-caulked and secured and caulked the mull covers."

They were very professional, enjoyable to work with ,and they did an excellent job for us. The design was exactly what was accomplished in reality on the project, that is a rarity nowadays. We were always informed if something was going to change about the project and they did their best to keep us in the loop.

Brillo came out and looked at the job as they were preparing the quote. They went through all the considerations that would have to be taken into account when doing the project.---how the windows would look, how the soffits were to be installed, etc. That was all completed before any contract was signed....

After being disappointed by another contractor, I'm really happy with Brillo Home Improvements. I really like them. I wouldn't have called them back for windows if I hadn't been happy with them.

From start to finish it has all been very good. I found that anytime any issues arose they always got back to me immediately and were usually here within a day or two to take care of any problems that came up. That is unusual for any company.
