I would strongly recommend Case to anyone who is considering remodeling their home. The experience went very smoothly. The project developer and designer took the time to listen carefully to our general ideas about what we wanted in kitchen/bathroom and transform them into a tangible design that was perfect for what we wanted and needed. The project manager was excellent at coordinating the renovation and communicating clearly what was getting done and project timelines. He (and the whole team) were very responsive to any concerns and questions we had. Communication was excellent. In addition the quality of work done by the craftspeople was excellent and reliable. Our experience with Case was very positive. For our next renovation, we would use Case again without hesitation.

We have worked with Case twice now, first for a small exterior home project, then for a larger project. Our recent project was an addition to our home, including expansion of the kitchen and adding a bedroom and bathroom.
Our Project Design team worked with us from the beginning of project conception to consider the spaces our family needed; Dave Vogt and team gave multiple options on layouts/pricing/design, and then finalizing details of each room. He and Case were advocates during the permitting process and helped move along a stalled approval through the DC process.
Our Project Manager Brian Knott lead the construction team to keep on schedule, communicate constantly with us on progress and decisions, and did high quality work.
We are so happy with the final project.

Excellent performance but a bit expensive.

I can't recommend Case Design/Remodeling highly enough. This was the second project they have done for me in the past decade--design and construction of a screened-in porch at the back of my house--and I am thrilled with the result. At each phase of the process--design, permitting, build and finishing touches--I was consulted, kept informed and in the care of experts. Their designers worked collaboratively with me, while expanding my thinking with their own great ideas. My project manager stayed on top of every phase of the work as if it was his own home. And the lead carpenter and his assistants were a joy--expert and efficient with their craft, tidy and super respectful of my home and they took obvious pride in their work. The only slightly tricky patch was negotiating the DC permitting process, and Case shepherded that through expertly and as expeditiously as possible.

I followed Case Design ads in the Washington Post for some time and knew this was the group I wanted to remodel my kitchen. I was not disappointed. Having attended their seminars prior to and after COVID, I was impressed with the conciseness of their planning and budgeting process and the professionalism of the staff. They met my every expectation as to design and implementation and I am thrilled with my new kitchen.

We had a good experience with Case. We especially liked how professional the process is, particularly once construction began. The weekly meetings and emails from our contractor Jason Burdo were very helpful. The carpenters and subcontractors were professional and courteous and did great work. Our only complaint is that the design work seemed to fall off at the end. We asked the designer to help us with paint selections and she did not get back to us.

I have no problem recommending Case, but my one reservation about doing so is their price.

We have done several large remodeling projects over the years and this was by far the best managed from beginning to end. The level of professionalism is quite high.

This was third renovation and Case exceeded expectations, with none of the issues I experienced with the first two renovations.
