The price was way too high for the quality.
I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we went through - many sleepless nights and we actually thought this company might have been a scam.
Champion has done our windows and now the siding. We are very happy with both jobs.
Installer did a good job but the frames have glue stains on the outside. Two of the windows have scratches from factory and the interior frame did not arrive at the same time.
There are issues with the installation of my windows that have not been resolved since July and it is now December
Overall satisfaction is poor.
At this point I would not. I also want to replace some other windows and was planning on using Champion. But the multiple rescheduling made it difficult to go back to Champion.
Excellent from start to finish.
The three door installers were punctual and professional. The were an excellent team and did an excellent job. Afterwards, they did a thorough cleaning. Thank you.
I will not recommend Champion Windows. The product is amazing but the services have not. I have been working on this project for over a year. Its been frustrating and stressful. I had to reach out to customer service for updates. My project fell to the waste side and this was very disappointing.
Easy to work with and great staff
We just had our 16 widows installed by the professional team at Champion Windows and I couldn’t have been any happier with there work. I was a little concerned about the whole process at first but Tiffany Preuss and Kelsey Olander were able to address my concerns and complete our project with superior quality and workmanship.
To be succinct, the people were easy and amiable to deal with and the windows look great. We're saving up to purchase some new windows so we'll be seeing you in the future!
Everyone was kind and the workman did a great job. The windows are beautiful
The salesperson was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The two installation guys did a great job, hard workers, only glitch was no handle for the screen door though a service request was put in and they got back to me within a couple days and will be out next week to install the handle.
Sales guy was great and very helpful, installers are very clean and friendly
No communication, windows are not level — looks like a Picasso room
Going on a year and project not completed.
Champion’s salesperson Ari Hankkila was great! We first met with him on April 20th. He was very informative, and provided us with options that made sense for our project. Unfortunately the rest of our experience was abysmal. Installation started on July 5th, but several items for our project were not ordered correctly by their staff in early May, so the project has not been completed and is dragging on into September now. The windows in the master bedroom have not had screens since July 5th, so we’ve been unable to open the windows in that room during the hottest months of the year. None of the installed windows have the interior trim, so you can see the insulation in all of them. They blame the delays on their own factory. Really wish I had gone with a different company for our project.
The quality of the screens is poor. Not worth the 30,000 we spent.
Installed wrong color of the window. Issue still not resolved
I paid a premium price for window that seem built as second rate windows. Sealer seems to be coming from inside the window to the outside, windows that pop open when catch is released (too much tension causing window to open), screens with spines of up to 2" + sticking out and screen fabric damaged and a window that seems to have a plastic part somewhere catching when closing it. Windows in general seem to be not manufactured well. Very unhappy especially since we were very pleased with the windows and patio door we previouslypurchased.
Windows are of excellent quality and look absolutely beautiful in my home.
I love the look of these windows. I am only 1 week in but so far am very pleased
The windows are of high quality, with the exception of (1) window has a from factory defect that we are currently trying to get confirmation that a replacement unit is on order, but the outside trim material is thin and was installed incorrectly, which required a redo by the installers. The trim pitched back toward the house, creating birdbaths and overtime, if and when caulking begins to fail, would find it's way behind the trim and onto wood, insulation, etc., and begin to rot those materials. Also, I noticed that they did not put down rubber windowsill flashing, which is pretty standard even in a remodel situation like this.
It looks nice now, but I had to do a lot of construction management to get us there and I am still working through the punch list items. 1.) From factory defect (which is oil in between the panes, I call it a rainbow anomaly, so that the folks I am talking to on the phone understand better what I'm talking about.) 2.) When the installer comes out to put in the replacement window, I am going to have them get one last bottom piece of trim to pitch away from the house, as right now it pitches toward the house and is creating a birdbath, irksome. 3.) Waiting on a crank out cover. Honestly, I wish there was a way to withhold payment until these last (3) items are completed. I am actually going to look into how I can withhold payment, until these are completed.
The installers worked well with me to improve both the function of the exterior trim, so that it shed water away from the house, as well as the esthetics of the trim work on the exterior, but honestly, the typical homeowner would not know that these were needed improvements, and the installers should have already known to do them.
I need confirmation that Champion is aware of last (3) punch list items, has materials on order and will reach out to us once the new window arrives. It's frustrating that we are not being communicated with and are having to leave several voicemails and texts with the office staff to confirm.
