We just completed the entire re-roof of our colonial home in Monroe, CT. The job included removal & replacement of existing asphalt shingles, skylights, all original plywood sheathing and replacement of all gutters and downspouts. I'm a detail orientated customer who wanted a roofing contractor who would meet specific requirements in procuring Class 4 SBS shingles, high profile ridge vents, higher-grade plywood & roofing nails and upgraded gutters & downspouts. I also wanted a contractor who was recognized by Owens Corning since I planned to use their product for the entire re-roof job. We selected KBL Contractors and couldn't be any happier with the outcome. Kenneth from KBL was very patient with me in listing all my specific requirements on the quote. The entire process from procurement & delivery of materials, protection of property, project completion and cleanup went without incident. The KBL crew was very knowledgeable & respectful of property and practiced "clean as you go" throughout the entire project. These guys know roofing and I would recommend them to family & friends. They advised of the materials delivery in advance, which were professionally staged the day before the project started. The crew arrived on time, worked extremely hard, and did an impeccable install job and pristine clean-up of the homesite. There were no up charges, surprises, or deviations from the job that was agreed. I was onsite to observe the complete project from demo to install and this team is truly outstanding.
