I installed my own roof, every nail, on this same house 18 years ago, but hurricanes and sun made it need replacing. I know how hard it is to replace a roof right, and I know how tempting it is, to cut corners. Kennedy did it right all the way. From the sales explanations, the materials, the hardworking crew, and follow up. For sure, I would recommend Kennedy Construction to friends and family to replace their roof.

They were supposed to do hurricane straps from the roof to the wall. They did not do it. They were backlogged, I believe.  When I asked about it, they said it was too late to put it in. I did mention this to the guy that came out, but he did not do it when he was here doing the project.

Roof replacement looks good but property protection not good Roofers threw alot of old shingles on top of pool screens without protection resulting in metal clips and metal pieces in bottom of swimming pool which left alot of Iron stains in my Fiber glass pool that I cant get out. Spent over $250.00 in chemicals with no luck. Their only remedy was taking off $100.00 off the price of a 21000.00 Roof job. Also my over the Range Microwave stop work had to get service to get it fix and found 6 to 7 good size nails in unit

The Owens Corning shingles that were applied withstood 175 mph winds in a hurricane. They are only guaranteed to reach 130 mph. We had gusts of 175 mph or more with sustained hurricane winds of 155 mph or higher. The shingles stayed in place, other than the cap shingles, but every home I've passed has cap shingles missing. That is well above the guarantee.
