Long was great throughout our entire roofing and gutter project! Our consultant was thorough and clear about the value and price. The team and project manager communicated regularly and clearly throughout the project, and the installation crew was professional and fast.

The individual that came told me the steps he would do and worked late because he was the only one that came out of the two people that were supposed to, and he stayed to complete the job in order for me to keep my plans I had the next day.

I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with Long Home. From start to finish every detail has been handled quickly and professionally. Right from the initial contact with the sales representative through all the steps of the installation every single step has been done at a high level of detail and care. I was kept well informed by both the project manager and by calls from the home office. It is sad in this day and age to need to offer high praise and gratitude to a company that does what it says it will do without question, but there are so many that don’t. What a pleasure to find one that does!!

The project was the installation of a roof and replacement of 3 skylights. The install crew was outstanding and we till would recommend them for that. Navigating the multiple layers of the organization which seemed, while always professional and courteous, disorganized and sometimes uniformed was challenging. While 95% of the work is done at 7 weeks out we are still awaiting for the install of the skylight shades.

We had a bathtub removed and replaced with a standup shower in my mother-in-law‘s residence. We had more than one company give us a quote, Long was honest and gave us good and correct information. The other company did not, being in Massachusetts you need inspections every step of the way, so it ends up not being a one day project. The other company told us that we did not need inspections which was not true. Also Long’s price was MUCH better than the other company. The people who did the work were all friendly and picked up after themselves at the end of their workday. We have a great looking standup shower and are very happy with the results.

Worst company to deal with.

They did the floor and it was not a quality job.

The workers didn't speak English very well so it took a while for them to understand a portion of the roof was new and didn't need replacing. They broke the gutters which subsequently had to be replaced. They left debris everywhere which is still there months later. The second crew who replaced the gutters also left debris and the gutters leak.

I was really disappointed with the service overall and the pricing. We thought the baseboard was to be included in the price. In the contract it was extra, and we feel we were duped. We paid $18,000 to go ahead and take out our bath and put a shower in. We thought the baseboard was included because it was an extra $4,000 or $5,000 that came in, and we were disappointed. They also said no more than a week to install everything, and it took about two full weeks. I understand they have to pull permits and such, but we thought it would be two days, but it was two full weeks.

I will share who I used for my roof and bathroom and I will be fully transparent as to what went well versus not so well, but I will not encourage or attempt to influence anyone's decision one way or another. All contractors have their issues. I will provide unbiased information.
