Yes
There were numerous terms in the contract that were not fulfilled, and they were unable to accommodate us accordingly.
McArthur Homes was easy to work with. They were very communicative and gave results to what they offered.
Everyone I dealt with at McArthur Homes was friendly and nice, they built the home in a quick amount of time, and there are no real quality issues. If they could figure out the landscaping to make it beautiful, that would be great because it's not beautiful. The shrubs are about four inches high, and I know they'll grow, but even if they were grown it would still be ugly. It would be nice if there was some diversity in it. They really did the bare minimum. They put in bushes that will survive, but I'm not blown away by the landscaping.
Yes. McArthur provides a quality home. There were several bumps in the road, but McArther resolved issues (somewhat quickly).
McArthur Homes provides really good quality for the price. Being in the custom home business, I was quite impressed with the quality of the home for the price it was.
McArthur Homes was wonderful to work with. They took good care of us and were quick to answer questions and be as accommodating as possible. We really enjoyed using them as our builders.
We loved working with everyone from McCarthur. I've already told several friends to consider McCarthur when looking into their future homes. We were treated so well during the entire process that I would highly recommend them.
I wanted to say thank you to Stephanie Worlton because she worked with us to make sure we got everything we needed.
I felt that every step of the way was great, and they were on top of things. They did an amazing job.
It's a starter home, and the experience was good but not great. My AC unit was installed improperly, and after struggling for a few weeks, we called to have someone come out. The apprentices did not wire it properly, but it was fine.
Very good experience overall, but not perfect
I am really happy with my home.
I had a good experience all around.
Steph was awesome.
I dont think the home buying experience is ever super fun. However, my experience buying a McArthur was a very good experience. Quick communication and friendly people. It was very nice not playing the bidding games on offers.
Very good experience except for one thing. On the initial discussion our realtor asked if we could use a different title company and was told yes. At closing we were told we didn't get our $500 gift card because we used a different title company. As the buyers we feel we shouldn't have been penalized by this and should still receive our gift card but no one really wants to address it.
Great people and everything went smooth
McArthur Homes builds great homes and are so easy to work with. The home layout and location is great!
We’ve been very pleased with McArthur Homes. The more we learned about them as a builder, the quality of homes they build and the people we met and how they run their business made us feel so confident about the home we were purchasing.
Very exceptional customer experience
Customer service sucks!
The team was helpful through every step. When there were speed bumps, they made sure we were comforted.
I'm definitely happy with the quality of the build overall. There are a few things that I think will need to be looked at during the warranty period, but I don't think any build is going to be perfect. Having said that, I think the communication during the build itself was subpar. I would constantly get emails that said something to the effect of, "Thank you for your patience. We are experiencing a time that we've never experienced before." I understand that, but as a customer, I am too. So, in times when things are unlike anything you've ever experienced, it would make sense to do things that have never been done. Let me explain. Be more open and transparent in communication. What are the delays, and why? What is your build process and are there phases to it? What are things we can do to be ready to move in once it is ready to go? Are there specific milestones that we would typically watch for that indicate it is to a specific point in the build? What are things we should be watching for as the buyers? Are there things we should be paying extra close attention to during the walkthroughs and such? Point is, I would rather you give me more information than I need than just be silent and constantly thank me for being patient. I don't know what delays exist and why. I don't know how things affect the build process. I don't know what general timing is or should be. I don't know what things to be watching for. I would have expected better communication.
Everyone at McArthur made the building process better than we expected. They listened to our issues and responded to questions.
