In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Dave Merrill promptly met with me for an emergency project that was not considered major work or an expensive project but needed quick attention. We used Merrill to completely remodel and extend our 1936 Cape Cod. The work took about 6 months. Given the magnitude of the project, 6 months is extremely fast. Our project was delivered on time and on budget. Everyone was amazed with Merrill's workers, their work ethics and their accomplishments....

The overall time from project startup to completion was actually less than had been predicted. When the job was threatened by the hurricane, Dave and staff were on hand to help seal off and protect the house. ALL of the staff were expertly trained,courteous and professional, but they were also friendly....

We chose Merrill Contracting because the quality of the work was excellent. They worked on our project every day and were often ahead of schedule. Problems were few and not caused by Merrill, but were promptly resolved satisfactorily by Merrill. Cost estimates based on our specifications were reasonable...
