Refreshing Kitchen Remodel
The clients chose to remodel their outdated kitchen in order to create functionality for their family and to utilize their space better. This included replacing their double sided wood fireplace with a clean and efficient gas fireplace, gaining a reasonably sized island with a prep sink, and providing a desk area connected to the kitchen for the children's homework to encourage family unity. Unusual constraints or challenges: Not all problems we face during the construction process are structure related. For these particular clients, all four family members in the home suffer from severe asthma and dust allergies. Because of this, our main challenge was to keep an immaculate workspace at all times and to not let any dust or debris spread around the home. An additional challenge we faced during construction was coming up with a solution to prevent the use of a newel post at the desk area. Overall results of the project: In the words of our client, our company "matched every promise with results, were accessible and responsive to me at every turn, and your guys were respectful of our property, children, and animal." Our clients are one hundred percent satisfied with their universal space that is functional for entertaining or for gathering with the family. Their previously sterile and aesthetically bland kitchen has been replaced with rich hardwood flooring, cherry cabinetry, a stunning marble backsplash, and new tile on the fireplace that balances with the kitchen beautifully. Our clients love having a computer area directly in the kitchen to monitor their children and feel connected to the family at all times.
