They did an excellent job. They were very excellent and well-managed. They did what they needed to do and cleaned up their mess. I loved it.

Our insurance company worked through Alacrity to hire 1800 Water Damage to repair our ceiling after a leak in our attic. After 5 visits to our home, our ceiling, walls, and carpet are all in worse shape than when they began the project. Their workers stained our carpet and got our walls dirty, and failed to clean up both. As for the job itself, they called me up at the end of each visit to tell me they were done, only to find out our ceiling was bowed, cracked, or uneven each time. Mike Hyman is impossible to work with! He never took responsibility for any of the problems, acting like nothing was wrong with the job each time, and I'd have to point out all their mistakes myself. He shifted blame at every turn, claiming they weren't done with the job, even though he was one of the people to call me up and check his work when he said he was "done." I had to fight with Alacrity and my insurance company just to get another company out to fix the job 1800 Water Damage did. This was the worst experience I've ever had with any company as a renter or as a homeowner.
