911 Restoration was very good.
This is the third email I have received asking me to take a survey about my experience with 911 restoration. Be careful what you ask for. Rob promised to send me copies of the final photos that he would be sending to the insurance companies. Not only did I never receive the photos, he never sent the final photos to the insurance companies either. Instead, the insurance companies had to use the photos from the early stages of their demolition of my living room, dining room and kitchen. He did not include the photos of the damage they did to the cabinets after they found the mold they missed behind the dishwasher. I contacted Rob and asked for the copies he promised to send me and why he only submitted half of them to the insurance companies. Not surprisingly I was ignored. As a result my claim with Progressive was undervalued and my claim with my secondary insurance provider was denied. They ripped up my kitchen floor and removed the base cabinets beneath my kitchen sink and the cabinet beside it for no reason, it was not damaged or moldy. Since the home owners insurance claim was denied all I had was the $5000 settlement from Progressive and 911 Restoration took $2200 of that for their overpriced work. They worked for 5 hours the first day, left the humidifiers in my living room for three days. When the came to remove the humidifiers they thought they were finished until I asked to remove the dishwasher. I had assumed they moved the dishwasher to check the entire area for mold since the leak in the bottom of the dishwasher is what caused the mold. Turns out they never bothered to remove the the dishwasher to check the wall beside it or behind it for mold and when I asked them to remove the dishwasher sure enough there was mold all over the wall beside the dishwasher and the demolition had to start all over again, the drywall removed, a large section of the dining room carpet was cut out and their chemical was again used to get rid of the mold. Interestingly, the previously treated mold required 3 days of my wife and I having to put up with the loud noise of the 3 dehumidifiers for the mold. Now, since they removed the dehumidifiers because they thought the job was done they decided this new mold that was discovered didn’t need the dehumidifiers? Strange. Total time the men spent in my house was about 8 hours, not counting the the 3 days the humidifiers were there. $2200? That only left me with $2800 to replace the living room, dining room carpets, replace the kitchen floor, replace the kitchen cabinets the either removed or destroyed, replace the drywall they removed in the living room, dining room and kitchen, painting, electrical, etc. So far it has cost me $4000 out of my own pocket largely because 911 restoration was a wrecking crew. When I brought a contractor in to give me an estimate to start the repairs he discovered that the power wire that had been connected to the dishwasher was LIVE and exposed. No cap, no electrical tape, nothing just a live wire loosely wrapped around one of the studs. Anyone who might have accidentally come in contact with the live wire that was carelessly left exposed would have seriously shocked. He also found that the drain under the sink had a open connector where the the dishwasher drain hose had been attached to and it had been left unplugged, uncovered and if the drain had become clogged when my wife did the dishes the water would have come pouring out of the open valve and created another mess. Just another example of careless work due to either lack of training, lack of common sense, in too much of a hurry or they simply didn’t care. They removed more than they had and I have to pay for it.I haven’t decided what action to take yet, I am still researching my options.
911 Restoration responded to my immediate need and then told me to contact my insurance company; 911 Restoration was a vendor of my insurance company and proceeded to help my make a claim. It was a pleasure.
Restoration 911 did a wonderful job after I had water damage to my home. They made a bad experience into a positive one.
Great Professional Company
The company was pleasant to work with. The employees were friendly and easy to communicate with they were on time with the time schedule they gave me. I was very pleased
Great Job by all
This company came to my house and tore it all apart. They destroyed my kitchen and dinning. Riped out drywall and left dust particles all over my walls, furniture, and appliances. I am left with a huge financial burden caused by this company
destroyed structures that weren't wet.... base boards door frames..... had to replace everything that was destroyed. also this company went by another name. ( Alacrity) This company is good for tearing the house apart.
911 Restoration came promptly (same day) when my insurance company called about a catastrophic flood in our townhouse. By the end of the evening, they had removed all of the damaged materials and set up the remediation equipment in the appropriate zones, carefully moving our tenant's belonging along the way. Three days later, they returned to pick up the remediation equipment and ensured that the property was ready for renovation. 911's communication with us and our insurance company was excellent throughout this process. We are very impressed by the quality of this work!
My experience with 911 Restoration was very good. The workers were nice and very pleasant and they did high quality work. The company responded quickly after we had water damage and explained the procedure to us in detail about what they would do. They worked quickly and cleaned up all materials before they left.
I appreciated how quickly 911 Restoration - Philadelphia came in to get the job done. They did not waste any time, and provided excellent service.
The person that originally came to access the property was very nice and through in doing his job. I did not have contact with the workers but the job was completed to our satisfaction.
Very fast, professional and cleaned up before leaving.
I was given a written estimate of $3,000 but 911 Restoration charged my insurance company $5,000. I was very unhappy about that.
The crew that came to my home to clean up all the items and check and check for mold, did an excellent job.
