Everyone at ADR gets high marks from us. Bret, Sarah, Andy and Andres were great to work with and Andy and Andres are professional and highly skilled. Communication with them all was first rate. Working on a 125-year-old house is challenging, but they were up to the task even when we threw some curve balls at them.
ADR's sub-contractors were also very good. There were a few glitches here and there but those were resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
We've had other contractors work for us over the forty years that we've been in this house and except for the people that built our deck and garage/studio those experiences had soured us on hiring another contractor, but we're glad we made this choice.

Very hands on assistance with the product selection process. We knew what we thought we wanted. The staff (owner, architect and crew) all provided valuable perspective and made it happen. I know from experience that fitting new to old is very difficult. ADR sweated the details where it would have easy to stop at good enough.

ADR is a custom builder with a great team in place. you dream it, they make it real. and if your not creative, they are, and will dream for you. great design team and craftsmen who sweat the details and build things the way you want them.

They are a conscientious, highly competent and efficient contracting firm. Not only was their work high quality, they were very careful not to damage pass-through areas and areas adjacent to the construction site, and they cleaned the pass-through areas at the end of each work day.

Proposal costs were fair and consistent, estimates were clearly defined and produced in a timely manner, and the on site staff was attentive, courteous, highly skilled and competent. This project was undertaken with only a general plan, and the foreman and workers on site were able to consult successfully with the homeowner to arrive at practical and aesthetically satisfying solutions to any unforeseen issues as they arose, and were flexible and cooperative in facilitating the homeowners' wishes, and bringing the homeowners' vision to fruition. All my dealing with ADR were positive, but in my view, the attitude of the man on site was the single biggest factor to making this project the success it was.
