Greg and his team, John and Creed, are true professionals who take pride in their excellent work. They are willing to work interactively with the owner to answer any questions, explain steps in the building process, explore options, and obtain owner preferences. They are hard working, meticulous, respectful, and share a good sense of humor.

We were extremely happy with Bassett Home Services through a recent renovation project. The entire process was easy from start to finish (scoping the project all the way through close out and clean up). Not only did the finished project meet our needs, I had to take note on how clean and tidy the crew were throughout the entire build. We have used a good amount of contractors while owning homes, and Bassett was far and away the most professional and cleanest of the bunch. Very likely to recommend to others.

Greg and his crew showed up on time, every day, worked thru obstacles like covid, snow and loss of power, supply chain delays, etc. He is very detailed oriented, yet very laid back and communicates often and regularly. Greg and his crew are great! We're still enjoying our new screened in porch and the new floor in the family room. Greg always has excellent ideas and is very good at problem solving issues with older homes. I highly recommend him for any building project.

I had had at least 3 other people come and look at my project and they did not follow through with an actual estimate. Greg Bassett came when he said he would (on time), gave me a written estimate that same evening, with an offer for a contract. I agreed to the contract; and he sent me a written contract that I could clearly understand which also mapped out a specific payment scheduled. He gave me a start date and we were only one day late starting due to a rain delay. The only other delays were due to city inspection schedules. There was a small ($250) increase in cost. However, he also did an "extra" job for me in building me 2 wooden stands for my rain barrels which elevated them to an appropriate height. He also had a recommendation when we had an issue not related to the construction. And, the subcontractors he worked with for electricity and plumbing were also excellent.
I have now had a 2nd job done with Bassett home services. This job had a change in original planning date and 2 subcontractors because Greg had lost crew members and was working on building his own house at the same time. He still found excellent Workman. The drywall guy was great and on time. The floor guy was a bit challenging but did excellent work and Greg apologized for any inconvenience. I still highly recommend Greg Bassett and Bassett Home Services.

I wouldn't want anyone else doing my remodel projects.
