Ben Quie and Sons remodeled our kitchen five years ago and recently finished our upstairs bathroom; as well as installed new exterior doors. We are amazed at the change in space, utility and aesthetics. We have a one hundred year old house and the design team was attentive to our wishes of honoring the era of the house and creating space, storage and functionality. The carpenters and sub contractors performed at exceptional levels of craftsmanship. I felt like all was managed well, and whenever something needed clarification or adjusting I felt an openness to coming up with solutions.

It was thorough, it was a joyful process from start to finish. It was over communicated.

We had an overall positive experience while the bid was on the higher end of the range we received while obtaining estimates from a range of providers.

We love working with Ben Quie & Sons. They listen to home owners and create a design plan that will achieve the desired result. One thing we especially appreciated was their interior designer going with us to pick out plumbing fixtures, tile, carpet, granite countertop, and paint. Their carpenters and sub-contractors are exceptional in terms of quality work and responsiveness to questions or concerns. They do their very best to stay on schedule, and in 2021 that was sometimes challenging with supply chain issues and staffing (sometimes due to COVID protocols?). Ben Quie & Sons really respect their clients, and go out of their way to make sure everything is done right and on time.

Any home construction during Covid with all the supply chain delays and worker illness is difficult. Ben Quie and sons worked to keep us informed and realistic. The quality of the work is impressive, Ben stands behind it!

Amy provided 3 designs and her vision was exactly what we needed. We loved her input, but also loved her allowing us to make final decisions. She listened and gave us the kitchen design we had been dreaming of for a long time. Leaf the head carpenter was great. He kept us informed and was able to handle all that was asked of him. We knew if Leaf said something was going to happen, it would be done. He is top notch and we were very grateful to have him as our lead carpenter. The subcontractors were all very professional and great at their specialty. The communication tool that Ben Quie and Sons uses was so helpful. It allowed us to communicate to everyone in one website. It was beyond helpful. We only have great things to say about Ben Quie and Sons. They delivered what they promised and stuck to the schedule. We highly recommend them for any of your house remodeling needs.

Instead of just coming up with a design, we went back to the oldest picture we could find of the house. Ben custom ordered every piece to be as close to the original as possible.
