Paul Zachman of Boardwalk Design, Inc. worked with us to come up with the design that we were hoping for, offering thoughtful and helpful options to our vision. Dustin and Paul, the two craftsmen who built our deck had considerable experience not only with deck building but with many aspects of construction, so when unexpected issues came up that past experience was key to problem solving our particular situations. They had the knowledge to build Paul's design not only to code, but with the lovely details that are the hallmark of a beautiful, well-made deck. We can't say enough about how impressed we were with their knowledge and care--they are amazing builders and artisans.

I was totally satisfied, from start to finish. I had a quote from another company. That brief experience was so bad, it gave me something to compare Paul to, which helps put it in context. While Boardwalk did over run their quote and I wasn't pleased with that, the most important feedback is every aspect from detailed discussion with the owner, deck design and overall quality of the deck exceeded my expectations. I had a total of three different decks built and each time they were completed within the timeframe given and done with excellence in workmanship and quality. "Through no fault of their own, a retaining wall became a problem in the project. Boardwalk Design contractors worked with me to help connect me to another contractor who could rectify the situation at a reasonable cost.

The quality, workmanship, professionalism and follow-through of the entire staff at Boardwalk was the best I have ever worked with on any type of house project.
