Everyone at Buffington was so helpful and quick to respond to us when we had any issues or problems, both during our build and afterwards.

We made a mistake, and they are still holding my money so that I can pay them in the manner they require. I cannot move into my home. I am not happy with them right now.

I was very nervous about buying a new construction home after living in my current home for over 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the solid build quality of my new home, the thorough communication I received during the buying process, and the prompt attention and follow through I have received for any issues that have come up post-move in. I would highly recommend Buffington Homes!

Overall, we’re very happy so far, but there are a few design issues that we feel could have been done a little better for probably little or no increased cost to the builder. Some of these were corrected before closing at our request, some not or cannot be corrected.
Some interior trim issues, such as strike plates that were too short resulting in black marks on all door openings (replaced with extended ones by builder), large air return for HVAC in 14’ high kitchen ceiling (can’t be corrected at this point), outdoor in-wall hose outlets plastic instead of metal and one of the 2 located behind and in-between the compressors; no mower access to back yard because of landscaping plan and fence placement (this will have to be resolved at added cost to the buyer to allow for yard maintenance), dangerous angled concrete right outside of single garage door (not sure how to remedy) that could result in fall; garage doors installed too low and came across in doorway to garage from house (reinstalled at height allowing for clearance from house); mismatched sizes of base shoe and quarter round intersecting in highly visible areas (fixed). Unsightly and unwieldy attic access door in upstairs bedroom side wall. We feel that most of these issues could be resolved in the design phase, including review of the landscaping plans. (The landscaping is beautiful, but we need to be able to get to all of the grass.) The field manager remediated the items that he had control over.

Make sure your employees are well trained and know what they are selling. We are spending million dollars on the house, make sure right information is shared in the first place.

The process to buy our home was very tedious. We reached out our very first time without a realtor and the doors to open the model home were closed. Therefore we tried to get in contact with the person listed in the stand up brochure and a lady said she was too busy and couldn’t help us because they were about to go to an Arkansas game. Once we were able to come with our realtor and visit the premises again, the model home was open and an invitation to discuss the sale was offered by Ron.

Buffington Homes has been great throughout the whole process. They've been very communicative from the planning and design center phase through the final walkthrough. They have addressed all questions we've had along the way.

I have had a punch list since moving in in November 2023 and nothing on the punch list has been fixed.

We are extremely pleased with our Buffinton home and would recommend this home to anyone we know. The area is safe and inviting and the quality of the homes are top notch for sure!!

After residing in this house for three months, I have decided not to recommend it due to its lack of quality.

There isn't a better home builder in the NWA region. We were so happy with what we got, start to finish. The customer service was on point, the care and concern was always there and if we were building again, we can only hope it would be with Buffington.

overall a very positive experience. We are very happy about how the house was built, but disappointed not having a mailbox at the residence and the utility boxes are in the front yard. I see mosts neighborhoods have them in the back as they normally are.

Buffington was such a pleasure to work with. We’ve built with others in the past, but everyone here was so educated, polite and helpful every step of the way. The entire Buffington Homes team has done an excellent job for us. From contract, design, mortgage, construction, closing and warranty all was done at a very high level of professionalism.....Linda and I thank you all very much.

I am the proud owner of two Buffington homes. However, the current project is not going well. Within three months, the floor has been damaged, and the garage is making a lot of noise. The wood floor was damaged within three months.

The warranty is very poor. They don't have any mechanism to track any requests. The quality of construction is pretty bad. They did not complete the pending items from the walk-through. It was kind of a surprise for me about the poor communication from their team.

We were satisfied with Buffington Homes and would recommend them.

There are a couple of issues with the home. One is that the wood is coming off in multiple places. The second issue is the backyard. The yard itself did not grow properly, and in some places the grass didn't grow at all. The quality of the house is not good, including the cabinets. There are multiple issues. The quality is really bad.

The Team that worked on my home., Terrah , Ben and everyone else are wonderful. Very well impressed with their level of effort who went above and beyond and completed our home. Timely communication, the tracker from start of construction to completion of the home was cool. Quality of the Buffington homes are readily noticeable when taking the first step into the home. Highly recommend Buffington homes.
