From the very first meeting I had with Trevor at the house to discuss my wish list, to the estimation process with Ana and Tessa, to the design with Marianna and Taylor, and through the whole construction process with Dustin, it was the best experience I could have wished for! Every person I met and worked with was incredibly friendly, very professional, very approachable and answered every single question I had and dealt with all my concerns throughout the entire process. Using the CoConstruct app was amazing! I could see my financials, permits, daily calendar and daily job log from my Project Manager, Dustin. You get everything you pay for and more! Every trade that came through was very professional and very trustworthy. It was 2 1/2 months without a kitchen but the process was exciting and stress free!!! That’s unheard of and I will recommend this company to anyone who wants an all in one design/construction company because it all works so seamlessly together. I was very impressed with the whole experience of working with DRD Construction. They executed a complete renovation of my 100 year old house during the pandemic. We started construction at the start of February 2020 so when construction shut down in mid March, they'd removed the exterior rear wall, all electrical, plumbing, sewer and plaster from nearly all the walls. When construction was permitted a couple months later, the schedule was adjusted for the 2 month gap. I moved in on the day promised on the schedule. This is not to say that there were no surprises along the way but rather that DRD anticipated that some number of them would occur and reacted quickly and effectively to stay on track.

The quality of the work was excellent. DRD hires subs who are very good - some of the them spectacular - and my DRD project manager, Corbin King, worked tirelessly to ensure that both schedule and quality were up to expectations. He provided daily updates on progress, questions and difficulties. He is a skilled craftsman so, on several occasions, when the planned approach to making progress faltered, he pitched in personally to keep things moving.

The project tracking software work remarkably well, complementing the personal communication activities rather than getting in the way of communication. It was more useful than I'd anticipated at the start of the project.
