The Degnan group was well coordinated. They listened well and did a great job responding to set backs. I’d definitely recommend. I’m a bit picky about electrical design and that is my only critique. After our electrical consultation, when the electrician came to do the work, a lot of our discussed details were lost and either had to be redone or had to be left in a less than perfect state. Every other aspect had a high attention to detail and excellent project management. The Degnan team was caring and giving along the way.

They brought the counter rep out to check, and they came prepared with a buffet of cleaning supplies to support their visit. While everyone we worked with was professional and caring, we had some issues with things taking longer than were estimated. This was especially frustrating when messages would be sent via CoConstruct and it took 10 days to get a response, even though several people had been tagged in the message. A lot of the schedule got moved around and we mostly felt like we had to be proactive in asking about what was going on. We also feel like there was some disconnect between the design and construction team that didn't come to light until very late in the process.

Construction Quality - There are a few spots here and there that felt like they couldn't have been a little cleaner. Overall, any major issues got fixed though.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Honestly pretty much everything but I think the people were the best. Every single person we worked with was easy to work with. They were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted. From designing to execution of the project I felt involved and listened to if I had questions or something wasn't quite right. I felt like I built relationships with everyone and I appreciate that. It was kind of sad not seeing everyone when the project was done. Thank you all, not just the work but for making it easy and enjoyable.

Remodeling Concerns

Remodeling Concerns - I was nervous to take on a project of this size and spend so much money. Worried that something would go really wrong, we would find an issue with the house (sorry about the mice, that was gross) or that we would not like what it was like in the end. I don't regret doing this at all and I find myself looking around all the time and I can't believe this is ours and how much I love it all.

Additional Comments - Thank you for turning the house we bought into the home we wanted for our family. It has so many things we always hoped we could have and I still can't believe we live here. We will definitely be in touch about the millions of ideas we have for this house and property!

The price was more than other contractors but the quality of craftsmanship was worth it for us.

Construction Quality - There were a few issues that arose, but they addressed them and took care of them appropriately to our satisfaction, there were some workmanship issues that were addressed when brought to their attention

Easier Than Expected - I had a bit of high expectations, and they met them, so it wasn't easier than we expected, it was what we expected.

Work was well done. Price was high.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Our new deck is wonderful! It went up quickly ahead of the expected time.

The lead carpenters, PJ and Kelly, were great and I recommend them without hesitation. They communicated well and worked hard to resolve problems. I am not sure I'd recommend the design team or the production managers.
