Satisfied
Outstanding work setting up the appointment and great job picking up and delivering everything! Brian, Dareus, Demetrius, and Tony were all excellent. Even Amber was great returning a refund since it took less time than estimated. Awesome job!
left a lot of stuff behind - basically half of the kitchen cabinets and the entire bathroom were not moved and had to do it myself.
Areas For Improvement - They didn't fall short in any areas.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They met my expectations
They showed up on time, but from the moment they walked into my house, they told me the price would probably change from the estimate they originally gave me. They didn't give me a range for the price. It ended up being much higher than I was originally told. They finally gave me a price in the last hour that they were here so I had no choice but to agree. I feel like they took advantage of me. It was a bad experience.
It has been so long, I am not sure. I used the company twice and had 2 different experiences.
Forward Van Lines broke two of my items and did not repay me for the damages.
They were on time, courteous, and professional.
Guy was professional, had great ideas, had an understanding of our need, was to prompt, and had efficient management of the job. I've used him several times!
I am very satisfied with their service, from beginning to end.
They were great and very accommodating. I highly recommend them
The staff at Forward Van Lines was extremely professional. They showed up when promised and there were no damages that occurred during the move.
They were absolutely the worst communicators. Our entire experience was misleading and they misrepresented themselves throughout the process.
The movers were prompt and did the job. However, somewhere in transit my bedroom set was damaged and staff did not make it easy for me to apply for damages despite having to pay an arm and a leg for "insurance". What good is my insurance if I cannot recoup when there are damages to my furniture?
5 Stars
I used Forward Van Lines for my moving services and it was the worst service I have ever paid for. They were to store and deliver my items for my move out of state. Items were delivered destroyed or not at all. Getting assistance was ridiculous and no apology or follow up on my missing furniture.
They have great service and they are very dependable.
Forward Van Lines is a great company. They did a great job and I would recommend to all of my friends. I am very happy with their service.
They were attentive, effective, and professional.
Very happy with crew and service. Worked very efficiently but took care with my belongings.
Very professional and efficient.
Very professional and great to work with.
Recognized Excellence - The whole company was great.
Areas Of Satisfaction - The service was great and they were easy to communicate with.
They are an awesome company who was very professional and considerate. None of my belongings were broken.
The guys that came out and packed us and moved us were very courteous, professional and got the job done quickly.
I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best. They are a very conscientious, kind, timely, and organized company.
I was most satisfied with the professionalism they showed when they came. They were very professional and nice.
Forward Van Lines completed the work efficiently, and they were professional.
They're very cooperative and lived up to everything they said.
Would strongly not recommend.
They were very helpful while moving my 96 year old mother.
They were very careful with every piece we had. We had 100 year old antique glass and none were broken.
Forward Van Lines always does a great job!
They were very good and professional.
Some ítem were missing.
I would NEVER recommend Forward Van Lines to my worst enemy. They had no respect with people's stuff. My boxes arrived in poor condition, one was completely broken (I have pictures), which doesn't surprise me when I saw the way they were throwing the boxes around. My floor lamp, which was one of the few furniture I brought with me, was placed sideway on top of all the boxes. When they removed the lamp, it was crooked and with scratches. They also lost one of my boxes, that I only realized after unboxing everything. It was one that cannot be replaced, since it had many of my personal, memory stuff, like pictures, baby clothes, letters from my grandmother, etc.
Also, they did not deliver my things on time as they promised. I was told 5 to 12 days to have my things delivered from Miami to Las Vegas. When I called customer services about the expected delivery date, they said they had up to 30 days to deliver my things, which was not mentioned when I was quoting with them. Their customer service was very dismissive and annoyed with me when I mentioned the 12 days that I was told, they simply said there was nothing they could do about it. Well, don't trust their word about any of their promises, because it is just sales talk.
Another ridiculous thing about this company is on the fine prints of the contract, which they will not mention before you sign the contract, but they will definitely point out that you didn't read the fine prints so it's your fault. After 75-ft from the truck, they will charge you extra for every feet they have to move. Because of that, I had to get a storage unit so I wouldn't have to pay the extra $400 they were going to charge from my parking lot to my apartment. However, when the truck got to my storage unit, they said they couldn't move the truck close to the door because the truck was too big to make the turn. The staff from my storage unit said they had seen many 18-wheeler trucks make that turn, which means that they were very lazy and didn't even try to make it happen. On top of that, the two men said they could only take my things to the bottom of the ramp without charging me extra for the "extra feet" they had to walk until my unit. At the end, I had to move all my boxes up a ramp to my unit – talk about great service, hu!
In summary, my experience with Forward Van Lines was the worst possible - from late delivery, broken boxes, missing boxes, extra fees, and rude customer service. No I would never recommend this company. STAY AWAY!!!
They were prompt with their timing to deliver.
They are a really great company.
They did not bring a bid enough truck. They had to come back a second day. When they were in a pinch, they began packing like a fourteen year old would pack.
Forward Van Lines provided excellent service from start to finish. My wife and I were always treated with respect and professionalism when we called, and every face-to-face meeting with representatives of Forward was professional, courteous, and helpful. The men who loaded and unloaded our trucks -- particularly Vincent and Alex, who unloaded for us--were hard-working and willing to go beyond the call of duty. Despite our having to have our furniture unloaded and stored due to unexpected problems in the house we were moving to, nothing was broken in transit. An excellent experience from start to finish.
Personnel were professional.
Service was average. Some really good personnel but some that did not respect our property.
Believe me they know,, Losing 24 of 29 items shipped
I use them all the time. They're responsible, they're quick, and they're on time. They're a good service. I use them exclusively. I'd give them an A+. I've already recommended them to many people.
It took Florida Forward Van Lines two days to pack up my house, which would take—they said that's how long it would take. But at the very end, they were really rushing, and a couple of my last shades were messed up. I didn't do any reporting or anything. Another thing they did, was they left one my very large paintings down at the loading dock. After they had left, the guys at the apartment building told me that the workmen—it had already been packed, they had just forgotten to put it on the truck. Otherwise, they did really good. Very professional. I think the reason they didn't finish as quickly as they wanted to was because one of the guys—it was three man crew that were working on packing—and one of the guys was not very well trained, and he kind of took off for a while, at some point, so they were really bound on him. I'd give them a B+. They're an excellent company. This is one of those things where two of their guys were superb, and all the company interactions were superb. It was just this one guy who was not.
Florida Forward Van Lines helped me move in June. They were efficient, courteous, and they got the job done, and did it pretty much the way I wanted—I can't complain. I would grade them an A.
They just moved all my stuff, and they did everything within a timely fashion. The service that I expected was provided. It was good. I'd give them an A.
I had a great experience with them. I don't think that the guys were that well trained; I would grade them a C because of lack of communication, organization. They still did a great job. If it was high end furniture, I would not hire them for that. They were not organized—they had stuff all over the place—but they still managed to get the job done. I had companies that were much more organized. If the furniture is not very expensive, and you’re not so worried about it, then they are good enough for that. But if you have high end furniture, I would not hire them for that. They are not organized or professionally trained. Definitely, they were not professionally trained. I didn't deal with customer service.
I'd give them an A-.
They were very good. They did a good job. I would give them an A. Everything was nice and folded. Everything was great. I would recommend them, and I would use them again.
They did excellent work. I had no complaints, and I would recommend them.
