The work they did was excellent, and I was involved in every step. Every single person involved was friendly and professional, and easy to talk with. There were also some small things that I noticed and appreciated: they respected my wishes about my pets, were even friendly with them; they took great pains to protect my home, and there was no damage to any area. They arrived on time.

Hamtil Construction recently addressed some structural issues with our home. Hamtil initially responded to our request by sending a team to our house, consulting one another on-site about the best way to complete the repair work, and then explaining thoroughly how the job would be done.

The finished job was great, and we are very pleased with it. Not only were the issues we had repaired, but the areas in question looked even better than before. This is the exact outcome we'd hoped for.

The job encompassed many aspects of construction and remodeling, from structural issues and carpentry to drywall and finishing work. Each element of the work was done accurately, quickly, and professionally. The quality of the work was excellent.

Their team does great work. It was a pleasure having Malcolm and Zach here. Both were polite, friendly, and professional. Malcolm often took the time to show me the improvements made and how they were accomplished, which I appreciated. Aaron did a great job, too, clearly communicating and coordinating the work and expectations with me.

I was also grateful to have access to the job journal online. Seeing the photos gave me further confidence this job was progressing well and being done thoughtfully and completely.

Communication - Communication is important, and Hamtil did a great job in this area. They consistently updated me on the project's progress through phone calls, texts, and an online journal, documenting the work completed and what remained to be done. The office staff was just as thorough in communicating appointment times and other admin info.

This was an unusual project. I basically went through my 35 year old home and listed 15 items needing fixing or updating. I worked with Paul Hamtil on putting my needs, including replacements of a deck, multiple doors, shutters, faucet, and chimney repair, into a project to be done over several months. The Hamtil team is always so professional, quality minded, and helpful. While they keep me up to date on my projects, I feel comfortable reaching out to them with questions at anytime. I will continue to use to them for all my repair and remodeling needs.

I cannot be more pleased with our Master Bathroom remodel. It was a very large project and Hamtil walked us through all of the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and stress-free renovation. They are extremely neat and tidy and very respectful of our home. They communicated with us throughout the duration of the project and even checked back with us a few weeks later to make sure there wasn’t anything else that we needed to have done. Every last detail was thought of and there isn’t one thing we would change. We are so appreciative of their professionalism and the impeccable craftsmanship. We had an excellent experience in the addition of a sunroom to our house--which is not something everyone would say about working with a contractor. From the initial assessment, working with the architect, through site preparation and construction, everything was first-rate. There were no "surprises." Everything was meticulously planned and executed. The construction work is of the highest quality, very professional. The workers were all neat and polite. The construction site was kept clean and tidy--everything in order at the end of each working day. This is not cut-rate construction or remodeling--it is workmanship of the highest quality. This is reflected in the costs, but we received excellent value for money. I would highly recommend them for any home remodeling work and we would use them again if another project arises.

This is my second time using Hamtil Construction. Previously we did a kitchen and master bathroom facelift. This time we redid our guest bath. Areas Of Satisfaction - We are satisfied with essentially all of their work. Our goal has been to restore and decorate parts of an elegant, upscale 1902 home and modernize other parts. Hamtil has been able to handle all of our needs with their personnel and subcontractors. We are happy that they have been able to rectify, at least, partially, some shortcomings in some old floors. We are ecstatic that they were able to strip and refinish old hardwood and supplement it with historically accurate restoration paneling.

They did an excellent job. They helped lead me to suppliers that had what I needed, and the suppliers were easy to work with. The work was done in a timely manner, and it was just a really great experience.
