They were very professional & did good wok.
Tim went above and beyond to find salt to melt the ice on my driveway. Otherwise, I would have remained trapped inside days after the latest snow and ice storm. Thank you,
On time, efficient, friendly and solved my problem to my satisfaction!
Wayland Engle has done fantastic jobs for us from Ace Handyman. We've also had a previous Ace Handyman do a great job, which lead us to hiring from them again. I highly recommend them!
No I would not recommend this company. They waste time and bill you for it. They were unprepared for the work when they came so that they could return and charge even more.
While the work done was okay, the two estimates for future consideration were too high for my budget.
Recognized Excellence - The gentleman who did the work fixing our cabinet did a great job and saved us a ton of money (we initially thought we'd have to replace the entire sink/cabinet).
Areas Of Satisfaction - They took the time to get two for options for us - even though one was significantly less expensive they presented the option to us.
The assigned handyman did a lousy job with putting cement repair on a couple of areas. He just didn’t care how it looked and he took bits of ceiling off when changing batteries out of the smoke detectors and did not clean up afterwards. They were simple jobs, my instincts told me he didn’t care about my house and took advantage.
He over charged me and lied about start and finished times. The owner however made good on that part. I should have complained to the owner at that time about the loudest workmanship but I was afraid as the guy knew where I lived.
Expensive and arrogant
Handled my punch list quickly to close on my house during a pandemic
I requested service to get the front lights to my house replace. Ace Handyman did a great job arriving and quickly changing out the lights. I'd highly recommend them!
I would recommend Ace Handyman Service Collin County for smaller jobs. Neat, professional and on time.
Rodney was on time and very good at fixing the work that needed to be done.
Waylon was very professional and did a great job. I have no complaints.
Affordable, dedicated, and pleasant to work with. Steve did a fantastic job not only on the work requested, but also in guiding me through the process and helping me to make the right choices for the project.
We've used the service several times--each time getting a different person, but pleased with their work.
My husband & I were both very pleased with the service.
The work was high quality. They were able to get the work started and completed rather quickly. The price seemed very reasonable. I liked going with a handyman because I didn't know, for the work I needed, who to go to. Having just one number to call and having the issues fixed was very convenient. The work was great .They understood what they were doing. I'm gad to have used them.
The first guy that was sent out was very inexperienced and barley got anything on my to-do list done. The second guy was able to solve the problems but I still probably wouldn't call them because some problems weren't fixed adequately. I still have to find someone to address those problems. It didn't seem that there was adequately communicate between the customer service rep. that I spoke to and the guy that came out to do the work. I needed sockets for the lightbulbs replaced and the guy that came out said I needed an electrician. So they didn't fix the problem that I called about. Maybe the serviceman should call before they come out to make sure they can do the work that the customer needs to be done. I had to take time off work to get the problem fixed and it wasn't.
Professional and reliable
Cheryl said they done a wonderful job, the results were very professional, and she was very pleased.
Door had to be installed twice because it wouldn't form a seal when shut. The service person used strips of cardboard behind the hinges as a shim. The cardboard was very obvious and stuck out from the frame. The edge molding was destroyed on removal (both times the door had to be installed) and sloppily re-installed each time rather than being properly replaced. Also suffered drywall damage that extends beyond the molding. The seal on this door still isn't prefect and now I'm thinking of just doing this all over again with a new door and better company. I'll also need to replace that whole section of drywall. Total waste of money.
i have already filled out and submitted this survey. i was very pleased with the work done.
It's probably our house, but most of the cracks that were repair the last time you were at my house have reappeared and I'll have to repair myself.
Prices are high. They tell you that they allow a certain amount of time, but most likely will not use that much time. They use it all, the handy man that come to do our work, was on the phone quite a bit and resting a lot. His work was ok, but not first quality. He had to work on one item, which was a simple fix 3 times. After the 3rd visit for a leaky faucet, I called a plumber. He came out tightened up the fixture and it hasn't leaked since. The Company did reimburse for the plumber bill. I wouldn't use again.
I had a leak under the sink. I decided to have it fixed and install a new sink. The gentleman who arrived to install a kitchen sink for me, was clearly not qualified. He told me the drain pipe is worn out and it was leaking. He failed to measure the bottom of the sink to see if it would fit. He spent 45 minutes dismantling the connections. He then informed me that he did not have adhesive to mount the sink, he went to Home Depot to buy it.
After 35 minutes he returned. By then I had lost faith in his qualification and decided to call a licensed plumber. He charged me the minimum of $150, I had agreed to that ahead of time when I scheduled the appointment. He also charged me $50 for going to buy the adhesive.
I called the company, the lady on the phone told me that the adhesive was needed and $50 was to cover the time spent to buy the adhesive.
I informed her that adhesive for sink installment is standard material for every installer, no different from having a wrench or screw driver, she disagreed and let the $50 charge stand.
The man who showed up was unqualified, poorly dressed in a white T-Shirt with holes in it, failed to measure the sink and asked me if any more material came with the sink, I showed him the instruction sheet and he tried to figure out where the clips go.
The licensed plumber that came the day after, measured the bottom and told me that the sink will not fit, I returned it. He then showed me where the leak was (it was not from the drain pipe) and what work he needed to do and gave me a quote. Not likely to recommend
They have not completed the job. Frustrated.
From the point that I initially contacted Handy Man Matters to the eventual repair work communication was great. The service that was performed was completed on time and to my expectation. I was very pleased!
Excellent quality service
They were recommended to me to do an installation of grab-bars in the bathroom. They did what they said they were going to do. They were on time. It turned out that the estimated cost was a little less than estimated, which is always better than more. It was a very professional job. They cleaned up, and I'm very pleased with the product. They earned an A.
They did a just-fine job for us. They added some Ethernet cable for me. They'd done some electrical work for me previously. They cleaned up when they were done. They just did a good job. They get an A.
They installed some cabinets for me. They were on time. They were reasonably priced. They did a good quality job. They get an excellent grade—A.
They're fairly easy to get a hold of. They were responsive to our calls. I'd give them a B+ or an A. The problem is they kept ordering the wrong door. We had a door replacement, and it was the third or fourth door out that was the right one. I'm not sure if that was the distributor they bought from, but it took them a lot longer than we thought.
They fixed the brick on the side of our house where we had a leak, and it needed to be torn out. They showed up. They did the work, and it was good. Then they charged me for it, and it was a reasonable price. I'd give them an A+.
I had a 100 percent positive experience. They're amazing—every single one of them. They've done various different—one of the guys installed our dishwasher. I had a guy do some fixing all around the home. I had another guy cut pieces of furniture for me. The people are what made it a 100 percent positive experience. They're personal, professional, friendly, and they did a really good job. I get annoyed when people try to just fix things the quickest, easiest way. I like it when they fix it so it doesn't break down again. They were very thorough. They're A+.
They replaced door knobs and brought high ladders to put lights in the ceiling. They've done work in the bathroom. All kinds. It seems like every day that something goes wrong, and I can't handle it myself. They know what they're doing. They're good at their job. They're excellent—A.
I'd had a leak in the water heater leak in the ceiling, and they replaced the ceiling and painted. They showed up when they said they would show up and charged me a fair price. I'd call it an A.
They did some door work for us, a door from my kitchen to the outdoors. It was pretty easy. They were very client-centric. They were quick and did a good job. It was good working with those guys. They're very courteous. The man came over and didn't try and force it or anything. He knew what he needed to do, and he said, 'Do you mind if I come back tomorrow? I don't have everything I need.' He just explained everything to me, but wasn't trying to force-fit something or trying to sell me a lot more than I needed. It was pretty good. I would grade them A.
They've done handyman work all over the house. They did their job. The workers are all very nice, and they know what they're doing. I’d grade them A.
They tuned a piano for us. I liked that they did it. He was nice. I'd give them an A.
They did some—put a room in for me, closed off a door, and put a door in somewhere else. They explained what they were going to do before they did it. They got their explanation past my husband, which was a bonus. He understood it a lot more than I did. They did exactly what we asked them to do. They told us that our first idea was not a good idea and then came up with an idea on their own that worked much better, so we're good. I would definitely give them an A. They did a really nice job. We did not have a problem. They came when they were supposed to come and stayed a little later than they planned to, which was fine. They came in a second day and finished up.
I had them back actually a couple times, then I referred them to my brother-in-law who had them do work at a house he bought for his son. When I bought my house, the garage was just the studs inside. They put up all the wallboard and did a ceiling to enclose everything for me. They also painted all the trim on my house. They did some minor repairs inside because I had some water damage before I'd bought the house. There were just a couple little spots, so they came in and repainted the ceilings. For my sister and brother-in-law, they enclosed part of the second floor to build an additional bedroom. They did quite a bit for us. Bill was the gentleman that did it for me, and I think it was Nick that did my painting. They were both wonderful. I liked their whole general attitude. They came out, they looked at the job, and they talked to you first. They went over everything. If anything came up, they talked to you before they just did it. Reasonably priced. They’re just pretty much everything. I’d give them an A.
I'm a real estate agent, so they did some work at one of the houses we've had listed. They were good to work with, and they were very prompt. They had people that were knowledgeable. I would rate them A. I would use them again.
They hung a couple ceiling fans. Nice guy. Did his job, cleaned up after himself, and left. They're A+.
It was quite a while back that Handyman Services did work for me. They did really good. I'd grade the overall experience an A.
They did work for me a long time ago, that was in the house that I sold. No complaints, I would recommend them.
It was fine, it was good, AND he did what he had to. I don't know if I would highly recommend them, but I had no complaints with their work.
They came on time—on the dot. They kept me informed by telephone. I thought they were professional and did their job, did what they said they were going to do. I'd grade the total experience an A.
We had some work done and we were pretty pleased with that, they did a fence repair. It was a positive experience. No complaints.
It was good. Overall they were A+.
