I encourage doing a full investigation of what's involved when installing a solar system, especially when you have an older home.
Many issues getting the system installed, poor communication, and they misled me about the availability of rebates. The final installation is much bigger than it needs to be, taking up all available wall space in my garage. All the boxes they mounted on the wall are mostly empty and the installation, if done well, could have taken up a lot less space. The performance of the installed system is less than they led me to expect and the controls available through their app do not provide sufficient ability to configure and control the system to improve performance. Their support has not been helpful.
Work was done but I was kept in dark
and it took much longer than expected.
Ive had issues that haven't been resolved. Too much turn over. May project was handed off several times. Two palates of tile still sit in my circle.
They are promising too many things, but they haven't completed anything they said they would.
They did a good job and provided quality services. I called them back, and they came back on time.
NOT in a million years!!!!
They stalled on making payments to the various entities they were required to pay thus delaying our project completion
Infinity Energy lied to me. They told me that I would receive a specific refund on my taxes, which was a lie. Now I have this bill that I have to pay due to their dishonesty.
I am satisfied with the solar panels, and I like them.
The problem I have is more with Sunnova. Their contracts are misleading, and they do not give the whole truth upfront.
The main thing I liked was the pricing
Did not follow directions, completely altered. The look of my house, the insulation is also falling apart. It’s only getting worse, and I have brought. Enphase in on the loop and they are not very happy that their installers pissed off their customers. You guys do represent them.
It was a professional install.
I'm very satisfied
Every time that I have contact customer service they have been very responsive
I was misinformed about solar at the time of the consult. I feel I was very misinformed.
Infinity Energy was very good at putting everything together quickly.
Their engineers and techs are outstanding, considerate to property, polite, clean, in uniform. Professional all the way across.
Fine installation, and electricians communicated with me the work required for a good experience!
I am very happy with Infinity Energy so far. I still have not seen a change in my electric bill, but I am hopeful that I will.
The delays are excessive.
I haven't had any problems.
Infinity was un professional and were not good installers.
I had a bad experience, and it took a long time to get installed. They had to come 3–4 times because of miscommunication and lack of preparedness. I am still being charged for the solar panel and getting high electricity bills at the same time.
It took several attempts to get anyone to resolve issues that needed to be fixed.
Company is disorganized and borderline incompetent
Pleased, but believed my payment wouldn't go up and it is.
In the beginning was
It took a long time to get the reimbursement. When the installation was completed, it was a problem with the wiring.
My roof and electrical system was destroyed by Infinity Energy and was not completely fixed. When I tried to contact them absurd and vague answers about the situation.
The experience with Infinity was terrible from start to the extremely long finish. It took them a year to get the panels installed correctly on my home, and failed four inspections with the city. The first crew that came out ran an electrical pipe up the side and down the back of my house, cut bathroom vent pipe instead of installing around it like they are supposed to.
They also had the wrong address, so my house is a two-story 2000 sq ft house. The home used to estimate how many solar panels I would need was my old home, which is a 1400 sq ft home.
They submitted it to PG&E wrong, so they had the wrong address when they tried to activate it. They were awful.
I tried reaching out to managers and even tried reaching out to the CEO on LinkedIn because of my experience.
They have the worst customer service. They are awful.
It was a very smooth and easy process that included allaying fears and having multiple questions answered.
Infinity Energy did a good job overall.
I am still trying to get my referral incentive for the friend I referred to them.
I like that the representative was knowledgeable.
This is the worst solar company! We regret using them.
Infinity Energy installed the panels about a year and a half ago. I am still receiving a very high electric bill on top of paying $150 a month for the panels. It came out to about $400 between the electric company and the panels. I used to pay about $230 for the electric bill alone before getting the panels. I hope that in years to come they will be beneficial, but for now, it is costing me more money than I was paying before the panels.
There was a lack of communication and customer service.
I would recommend them to a friend. I felt like I didn't need to get too involved, because they did everything for us.
They had wonderful customer service, and we were happy with the prices overall. They were the least expensive with the lowest interest rate. Infinity Energy had the best customer service out of all the solar companies we spoke with.
The entire process from quote to installation to Permission to Operate was smooth. Everyone I interested with was professional and pleasant to deal with.
The reps are very helpful, they answered all of my questions. Any concerns I had, they were willing to help.
They say one thing and do another.
Everyone was very professional, and the sales person was great.
We are really happy with the installation. The sales rep was really knowledgeable. We received the referral from our real estate agent. We are really happy with them.
I haven't spoken to anyone like I should. My manager changed two or three times through the process, so I don't know what to do now or what's coming next.
AJ took a personal interest in my case, which helped resolve many issues.
Ease of installation, salesman knowledge
My system was down for about 5 months about 3 months after I got it installed. It was very frustrating dealing with customer service to get it back online. I had to keep calling to get it back online.
