From concept and design to demolition and construction, the Legacy Builders test was professional and customer-focused. I love my new space.

The finished product is very good. Surprised how long it took to correct the items that needed correction upon completion. Was told to expect workers by 8:00am. Never arrived until 8:30 or 9:00

Legacy was a great design/build firm for our total kitchen remodel. We first decided to use them because of the work they put into the initial bid. Unlike many others who would not even produce a sketch without a design fee, Legacy created 3-D renderings from their measurements and we were able to see their creativity and skill. Every step of the way, we were partners in the design. Legacy also had great contractors for cabinets, tile, and flooring who further contributed to the design. Jeff Ross was a great project manager who managed to finish the job 2 weeks early and who responded immediately to every concern and every new design idea. This was a big project with new HVAC, wall removal, floor replacement, all new appliances, cabinets and drywall, and we could not have been happier.

On a couple occasions when they weren't exactly sure how to approach a particular issue, they consulted with an expert tradesman (at their expense). That's a sign of true experts.

Professional & Organized - This was a major factor in our choosing Legacy. At ALL times were they professional and organized, and they expected the same from their subcontractors. Their high level of professionalism and organization was clear to us from the first time we met Bill, one of the co-owners, and we continued to see that with everyone we met. At the beginning of the project, Bill laid out their detailed design-build process for each stage of the project and they followed it.

Schedule - The schedule for the entire project was laid out at the outset, months in advance of it starting. They were flexible with our schedule as well, and with the unplanned changes we introduced along the way. The project was completed when expected. And they expected the same quality from their subcontractors.

Communication - Communication was outstanding. Their app provided us with the entire schedule from design through completion. Only a handful of times over the five months did they have to deviate from the weekly schedule (literally!), and the Project Manager (Matt) kept us in the loop when that happened. Problem Resolution - We experienced only minor problems, which we fully expected for such a major remodel (in fact we expected more). Each issue was quickly addressed, and in most cases, the PM brought the issue to our attention first, along with the action he planned to take. Again, he always kept us in the loop.

Clean & Safe - The worksite was left impeccable EVERY day. The workers took the few minutes at the end of each day to tidy the jobsite. Even their subcontractors did this; it was obvious they were fully aware of the standard Legacy demands from them.

Legacy did an absolutely wonderful job on our bathroom remodel. Although construction can certainly be disruptive to a household, they did everything they could to ensure that the adjoining space was protected and that the work area was cleaned up on a daily basis. While this would have pushed back my hardwood floor installation that I separately contracted out, they worked and communicated with my installer to make sure that he could still install the flooring according to the original schedule as he was unable to move my job to a later date.

Additional Comments - Our experience with Legacy was great from the pre-construction meeting, design & planning stages to the completion of the project. Each member of the team was very upfront, responsible, timely & professional during the entire process. The design of our Sun Room looks beautiful & outstanding! It looks exactly as it was laid out on blueprint & the way it was explained to us during our meetings. All of our project goals were met. Our construction project was very clean, organized and protection of home was valued. Thank you once again for an outstanding job!

Legacy was easy to work with by incorporating our ideas into the plans and developing lower cost alternatives which we had not considered.. The quality of the work was very good, the crew courteous and professional. They handled minor changes requested well. We would recommend them for remodeling work to friends and family.
