Design

Design - Allan, demo / tile crew, paint crew, electrician. Everyone asked questions if they were not sure, and answered my questions in detail and with options, to help me make decisions. It was clear they wanted to be sure l my ideal bathroom.

They were very attentive and honest.

Alan and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job installing a new quartz countertop and subway tile. In fact, we liked their work so well, we immediately hired them for another project.

Update: after an unfortunate flooding event (a pipe leak), we worked with Legacy on a third project. I didn't think it was possible to be more impressed with a company than I already was with Legacy, but it actually did occur! They worked tirelessly not only with me and my wife to ensure we were all aligned on the project but also with my insurance company, correcting the many errors my insurance company made in their initial repair estimate. Their work and professionalism is top notch. If you want a company that goes above and beyond, these are the ones to call.

My wife and I have moved a lot during our work life having lived in eleven different homes in 4 different countries and a number of US states. We have done many renovations ourselves. And being a retired engineer, manager and executive in the engineering and construction industry working with contractors has been a regular part of my background.

This project was primarily a full re-design and renovation of our kitchen sub-floor to ceiling, including procurement and installation of appliances, countertops, cabinetry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. I have been cooking in our new kitchen for some time now and am very happy with it.

Many of David’s and Allan's suggestions have worked out very well.

Home modifications can be a dreaded experience. David (actively involved), Allan (site project manager) and their vendors took the pain out of the experience and turned it into a collaboration.

On occasion, my wife walks in and says “Isn’t our new kitchen beautiful!”

I highly recommend them and will use them again for future work.

Clean - Only occasionally could a worker have left the job site a little cleaner. And when the PM was advised, it never happened again.

Design - Final design met out needs. Legacy was very patient and supportive as we developed the final design together.

Areas Of Satisfaction - After my wife and I selected examples of all the appliances we wanted, I asked David to take the responsibility of placing all the orders and managing delivery installation and followup issues. It took a lot of headaches off my shoulders.

Basically they performed conceptual and detailed design, purchasing, construction, expediting, vendor issue resolution, demolition, trash disposal, electrical, plumbing (gas, water and drainage), drywall, patching and painting. Also permitting and issue of lien waiver.

We would definitely recommend this company.

The day we scheduled to have a spray in the crawl space, the sprayers weren't available, they were all rented out. There was a delay for a couple of hours. They were able to use another company and get it done that day. They went out of their way to resolve things that came up. That was just one example.

It was a miserable job spending time in crawl space removing mold, but they got down to business and were cheerful about it. Not only that, but it was a very nice experience.

Knowledgeable - I was having additional work with another contractor at the time. They helped me sort out what was needed and who had the best expertise about what. They informed me on what was worth spending money on. Furthermore, they were very helpful regarding that, and they were frank and didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need.

Line Of Work - They took out everything damaged from the leak and the mold, basically cleaned the area. It was cleaned up very well.

Legacy did such a fine job with our new kitchen countertops and subway tile that we immediately hired them again for a second project. I would definitely recommend them!

It was done on time and they did a wonderful job, it turned out beautiful, and they converted a bathroom with a tub into a beautiful bathroom with a walk in shower. They were helpful and always available for any and all questions and decisions and help. They assign a project manager to your job and he was very helpful and always available on the phone and in person. Their workmen were very good and showed on time and did a good job.

I appreciate the time the company took with me to explain what was needed in terms of mold remediation. it felt like they knew exactly what to do and where to do it, based upon years of experience with a challenging issue
