Area Of Satisfaction - I feel the company exceeded my expectations in terms of resolving the major issues going on through the process of putting in our bath tub. We upgraded our bathroom, and that process would be where I feel they exceeded.

Liberty built a good house for us overall, but I feel when we were trying to be proactive and avoid issues we were brushed off and then when the issue happened we had to chase a solution. Our doors have a 1" gap under them; we tried addressing this in preconstruction to frame them lower and cut the doors down before they even got permits, now I'm stuck with it, very frustrating.

Not entirely. The process wasn't extremely pleasant (some things were good), but they built a beautiful home. There was an attitude like they are doing us some great favor and we should be happy to get what we get. These houses are expensive! But ultimately we are very happy with the house.

After being asked to update this rating, it is an opportunity to elaborate that upon contacting the GM of liberty- there was no help.I was more or less an annoyance. Now (1 year later) come to find out the HOA (which is controlled by liberty as they still own a majority of the lots) wants to double the monthly fee to cover areas they have neglected to maintain. Don’t expect an honest experience.

Wes, the realtor in Sunset Hills was not a very good realtor to deal with. He doesn't communicate well, doesnt check emails, and never makes me feel like he remembered i was building a house with liberty homes.

Our experience with Liberty Homes was amazing. They followed through with everything they had promised. We could not be happier with our home. Everything was done in a timely manner, and everyone was very professional. We love our home!

We loved our realtor Wendy. She was very kind and was always willing to answer questions. Our site manager was A JOKE. Talked down to us constantly, would not listen to any concern that we have, and now because of how he handled things, we are already having to fork out over $10,000 to fix what he did. The quality of our brand new house is extremely poor. The entire house was not sanded, and the parts that actually were, did not get dusted or wiped off before painting so we have clumps of dust painted into the walls. Places that I marked for touch ups were not ever touched up. The blue tape they give you to mark the walls during the walkthrough was actually still on the walls when we came back. We have only been here 5 months and the caulk in the corners is already starting to crack in ALMOST EVERY ROOM. You can hear people talking OUTSIDE of our house because it is so poorly insulated. And they tried multiple times to back out of giving us granite in our kitchen even though that was the promotion when we put money down on our house. Overall, it has been a horrendous experience. Our site manager has QUITE the reputation around the neighborhood because of how he treats the people purchasing his homes. I would have never bought a Liberty Home if I had known how we would be treated, and how much crap we would have to put up with through the process, and if I had known what kind of quality we were actually signing up for. I tell everyone who will listen to NOT USE LIBERTY HOMES!!!

Besides the build time taking MONTHS longer than we were told originally and the creaky floors. It has been a good experience.

I would rate this statement with a score of 3 if my friend were to have a different project manager than Marty Black. If they were to have Marty Black, then I would rate the statement above with a score of 2.

Use a different sprinkler guy.

We originally worked with Wendy, our sales agent, who was professional and kind the whole way through. She followed through with everything she originally stated when we signed the contract. Marty, my project manager, was also kind, professional and friendly. The preferred lender, Kevin, was also good. They were all easy to work with and took care of my issues quickly.

Area Of Satisfaction - The build time was quicker than expected. They gave us a ninety day window, but I didn't actually think they would meet that deadline! Also, the quality of the home was better than I expected.

It was extremely smooth, and they were very helpful and returned messages very promptly.
