We hired Lifetime Shingles to put a steel roof and new siding on a century-old rural property. Our schedules kept us away from the worksite but the crew chief kept us in the loop with calls, texts, and photos, which reassured us and which we really appreciated. The building is completely renewed for the next 100 years!

Communication

Communication - This was a long-distance job and both Jessica (home office) and Marcus (crew chief) were in regular communication with us before and during the project. Since we weren't able to be there, the photos Marcus sent during the siding and roofing project were both exciting and reassuring. All of our questions were answered quickly and in detail.

There were no hidden costs and they were very professional. We had to add lightning protection, Marcus was very cooperative in installing and working with the company.

Lifetime shingles was very professional throughout the process. They completed the job within the agreed time frame and held to the estimate. My questions were answered and concerns addressed. They were very pleasant. Happy to recommend them.

Rollie was informative and patient with our questions. The roofers were courteous, efficient, fast and kept the job site clean. The Lifetime staff kept us informed throughout the project. Marcus gave us comparative information about the different types of metal roofs on the market. He was able to answer all our questions and find the right product for our project. He was timely and provided a time frame for the work to be completed which worked for our schedule and the project was completed in a timely fashion. The people in the office were also very helpful with scheduling and with warranty and insurance assistance.

It is a lot of money, and it is a big decision. I've had issues with this barn ever since I had another contractor shingle it. I had big issues with leakage. When I talked to Lifetime Shingles, I found that they definitely guarantee it won't leak. I told them it is getting to the end of the year, and they told me when they would be here. They showed up on time, and we luckily had beautiful weather. The work got done on time, and everything went fine. I can't complain, and it looks awesome. The only issue I have is that a couple weeks ago we had high winds, and I had a couple places where it leaked. They came back the next week to look at the situation. I think we have that corrected now. They did a very nice job cleaning up all the time, and there was nothing left laying around. They had good equipment here, and I'm well satisfied with everything. All the help was very nice, and I got to talk to them in the morning and greet them. They were all nice to work with, and that was kind of nice. I have done a lot of different things, and I was well pleased with everything. I hope the one issue is resolved, and other than that one issue it would be a 100% perfect job.

Wayne was very helpful from the first time we met through the finished product/service. It was clear to me that he's very knowledgeable and informative when it comes to the roofing trade. He made me feel comfortable enough that I could ask any questions without feeling dumb for not knowing a roofing term/task. I would also like to note how patient they were with our decision - they didn't push or hassle at all - just let us know that they would love to do the job if that's what we wanted. The finished product looks great and we would highly recommend Lifetime Shingles to anyone looking for a long-term (possibly permanent) roof over their head. Thank-you Lifetime Shingles!
