Our experience got off to a great start with Billy during the quoting process. Billy partnered with us to shape the project in a way that aligned with both our vision and budget while being responsive to our questions throughout the process. Dan's communication on the billing process was transparent and easy to understand.

Lucas demonstrated a high level of professionalism and seamless teamwork throughout most of our project. One of our initial draws to Lucas was their dedicated selections coordinator, which proved invaluable throughout the process. Teressa's support made what could have been an overwhelming part of construction much more manageable. Our project manager, Carlos, was always professional, highly responsive, had high standards, was attentive, and solutions-oriented.

We experienced timeline slippage starting July following the storms in Houston, which was towards the end of the project. This led to some rushed final details. We ended up moving back a month later than expected and without finishing all the outstanding punch items. Because of the rush near the end, some of the trades work did not measure up to the typical Lucas standard but Carlos was able to work with us to get the issues addressed after we moved back in.

Despite some timeline issues near the end of the project, we have been happy with the Lucas team and the finished product. We would work with Lucas again and would specifically request working with Carlos and Teressa.

If someone was looking to do a low-priced, budget project, this would be the company for that. I wouldn't recommend them to everybody because not everyone can afford to go with one of the better builders.

I think it really matters who your project manager is. Quality control was a big issue for our project and caused pretty significant delays.

The work was done quickly and effectively. I’ve recommended them to others already but do note they are a bit pricier than my friends can usually afford.

If you want a professional team of talented contractors and subcontractors rather than a one-man band who subcontracts all the work to the cheapest crews, look no further than LCI. We chose them for their project management skills, professional communication, and quality workmanship. We received all that and more throughout our 4 month project with them where we gutted our kitchen and gutted/relocated our main bathroom and closets. We thoroughly researched other contractors in the Heights/inner loop and we are confident that LCI is the best of the best. Can’t wait to use them for future projects!

We are extremely pleased with the end product - our kitchen looks fantastic! Really high quality work, and we enjoyed working with Joey as our project manager. Allthough the work took three times longer than expected (mostly rain delays) we are very satisfied with the workmanship and warranty.

A written estimate of 4 weeks in the Contract is now 13 weeks and counting with promises to “end soon” that never seem to be met.

The painting was really great. We had an issue with a potential leak that we didn't know about when we took the ceiling off. We were thinking it was going to be a huge hassle but they said it wasn't a problem and fixed it. They were great at problem-solving and we really appreactiated that.
