I also appreciated that the design process was so thorough and how most all decisions were made prior to constructions.

In particular, we appreciated the regular, detailed meetings and supporting materials. The level of carpentry skills exceeded my expectations, The quality of the subcontractors exceeded my expectations. In the few cases when schedule constraints forced them to work with a new partner, they took extra care to monitor their progress to ensure it was up to Melton's standard.

Throughout the project Gianna and Tim were able to implement contingencies to maintain forward momentum. Their ability to adapt and develop solutions quickly made even the unexpected, less stressful.

Construction Quality - Melton is staffed with professionals with the ability to raise craftsmanship to an art form. The project required a few site-built elements that were tricky to plan, let alone implement. In response, Gianna introduced us to Darren, a master carpenter. His ingenuity, attention to detail, and keen eye provided us with some custom woodwork that still bring a smile each time we enjoy it.

Problem Resolution - When questions, concerns, or problems surfaced, Melton addressed and resolved them. Period. This level of service extended even to support staff, where it was a pleasure to work with Selene in Accounting.

Clean & Safe - Construction is messy; it just is. With that said, the care and concern Melton exercised during the project made a huge difference at the end. Zipper walls and Ram Board are a big deal and Melton did not skimp when it came to protecting my home. Clean up at the end of each work day not only made for a more pleasant experience, it allowed the teams to more accurately assess progress and address issues.

I worked with Adrian Wisniewski. He was the first person we spoke with, and he is the main reason we chose to work with Meltion Design Build. I did a lot of research online, and Melton Design Build was one of the few companies we chose to set up an appointment with. Some project managers just walked around, but when Adrian walked in, he asked if he needed to take off his shoes when coming into our home. I noticed his shoes were very clean, and he didn't want to mess up the customer's house.

We are so grateful to have Melton in our lives. Our complex ADU project literally would not have been built if not for our team's creativity, perseverance, ingenuity, innovation, and flat out hard work over a long two-year process. They designed and built not only an elegant piece of architecture that blends beautifully with our existing space, but also helped us expand our home just as we envisioned. Adrian, Ryan, Jess, Reed, and Simon were the ideal team to lead our project, we are so so so appreciative of all their enthusiasm and support throughout our project (especially Adrian and Reed's ever-patient indulgence of having to continually quell our anxieties and answer a million questions!).

Additional Comments - I would 100% recommend Melton to anyone looking for a major remodel or new build. Smaller projects as well! Our project started in March 2020 and Melton did and impressive job keeping us in schedule through a very difficult and unpredictable period of time. People who see our house cannot believe the transformation in such a short timeline. We love their work and their process.

While we had minor hurdles to solve, it is a creative and technical process and some messiness is expected. Melton made a great house!

They are a highly professional company from start to finish with conscientious and kind staff and trade partners. When our job was finished I was sad to see them go, glad to no longer have construction going on in my home, but sad to not see the people each day.

Great company for all inclusive service (architect, design and construction) and we were very happy with results. Wonderful core group of carpenters and project managers/contractor. Very trustworthy, organized, and excellent work. Only downside is that you are paying a fair bit more for these services than other companies/contractors.

We couldn't be happier with the results of our remodel. The quality of the work is superior, the results were more than we could ever have hoped for. And I FINALLY have the dream kitchen I have always wanted. Thank you!!

Outstanding build quality and craftsmanship. We came into our project expecting and willing to spend time in the design phase before any construction began. Not only did Melton agree with our approach, they held us to our commitments. Design quality is good. Build quality, job site cleanliness, friendliness and communication of crews (both Melton and subs) was outstanding. You get what you pay for in this field, and Melton is worth every dollar. We have used Melton for multiple remodel projects. They get better with each interaction. Since we stayed in our home during each project, the interaction with the team is crucial to keeping our sanity!

Melton excels in its craftsmanship and interior design. It would have been difficult and laborious for us to find the level of expertise we received for our remodel. We did have challenges and frustrations with the sales and project management side of the house due to vague communication, misaligned priorities, and a lack of urgency to complete the project.
