From start to finish, the experience of building with Merrick has been great. They listened, supported and were incredibly responsive. This was an 'across the board' experience--from the owner, through the project manager, through the construction teams and subcontractors. The coordination with the rest of our team--designer, architects, engineers, etc.--was superb.

I have already recommended Merrick to everyone looking for a builder. They run their business extremely well, meeting price and schedule commitments with excellent communication.

Additional Comments - The entire Merrick team was wonderful to work with – from working with Tim and Shreya and their team on the estimate, to Tom, Rich and their crew for getting the work completed in the most professional and timely manner. The whole process was very smooth and quick from the start to the finish (they worked every day from the start of the project to completion). We felt like we were very involved in every phase, but we didn't feel stressed out about any of it.The Merrick team always had good suggestions – whether it was for something to eliminate to keep the cost down, or helping with material selection. Small changes or adjustments throughout the process were acceptable and the team worked on the fly to make the changes we wanted without any hesitation. We honestly feel that the entire Merrick team delivered exceptional service from the start of the project to the end. With that being said, we are thankful for Tim helping us scope out the project and guiding us through the budgeting process. Of course we were thrilled that Tom was back as our project manager – he was always accessible, one step ahead of the project (and kept me on track) and extremely easy to work with. This was our first year with Rich as our carpenter and he went above and beyond to deliver quality work. We were lucky to have such a dedicated and determined team.
