They were good to work with.

While Old World does have some great craftsmanship (especially at the base build level), we struggled with communication and accuracy during every step of the build. The design process was great, but the execution was painful. Their inability to do basic Project Management and communication was surprising, given the price point and quality of the homes they build. Attention to the details we chose was arguably worse than their project management capabilities. We had to intervene and deal with numerous contractors and supplier partners of theirs (many of which mutually complained about OWC dropping the ball and not communicating). Our home was constantly deprioritized and never once did we actually feel as though Old World was there for us. They did not admit or take responsibility on many issues and errors. Our home completed in October of 2021 and we still (March 2023) have open action items that I have zero confidence that they will resolve.

The whole process of building was very streamlined, efficient, and professional. The build quality also second to none.

OWC builds a high quality home exactly the way you want it. We are very happy with our choice of builder and their team is amazing.

Additional Comments - It's been fantastic. They are the only builder that I know of, that we signed our contract with before lumber prices increased, that stuck with their word and did not raise or increase that cost onto us. It saved us tens of thousands of dollars.

From the beginning of our builder hunting process Old World stood out from the rest. The quality of their builds, the unique layouts of their homes, and the personal salesmanship helped us decide we wanted OWC to build our forever home.

Finding a lot proved to be more time consuming than we anticipated. Despite the delays and seemingly impossible task of finding just the right property we never felt anything other than support from the OWC team.

Once we finally found a lot we started the build and selection process. What could potentially be an overwhelming task was instead a joy! The design team went above and beyond to make sure our house was everything we wanted it to be. Additionally, all of the vendors that OWC sent us to work with were equally professional and a delight to work with.

We had excellent communication throughout the build with our construction manager. He filled us in on what was happening and was always able to answer any questions or get resolutions to any issues that came up.

Our friends and family stepped up big time when it was time to move. Everyone was so impressed with the build of our house. We get lots of complements on the rounded corners, the light fixtures, the massive island, the huge windows, the master suite…

We’ve been living in our home for almost a month now and couldn’t be happier. It feels like a dream waking up in our beautiful home. I would use OWC again in a heartbeat to build, but we won’t have to because they built our forever home.

Flatly put-- you're crazy to not seek OWC to build your next home. Small or large, rectangle or triangle shaped houses-- it doesn't matter. You will really understand what a "custom" builder really is and be able to filter out all the postering builders out there who say they're "custom". OWC, hands down, is the best.

We always felt like we were family and even more so with our site manager--feel like we made friends through the process of building our dream home. In the culture we are in with so much being media driven--cannot tell you how important that human relationship was to myself and my wife, throughout our building process. It really is unique to experience that in today's culture of transactional business where the relationship is left aside. OWC has a personal, small family feel that is special and encourage OWC to never let that aspect go! You guys build tremendous homes and we can't believe we are really living in our forever home with our children. When your 3yr old son turns to you at night relaxing on the couch and says "I love our new home, can we stay her forever?"-- you know you guys nailed it. Thank you for helping provide us with a house of our dreams and a place we get to call home.

His years of industry knowledge, experience and "real world" application make him a very valuable Project Manager for any builder and homeowner.
