The team at Premier Solar NW was incredible throughout our entire solar panel planning and installation process. We received several quotes before proceeding with our job, which also included vermiculite abatement and reinsulation, and reinforcing our roof’s framing to be able to support the weight of the new panels. At every, and I mean EVERY step of the dance, the team at Premier let me know what to expect, and when and how to expect it - and they were always spot-on. Not only that, but they provided a trusted roofing contractor reference for our roof reinforcement (shoutout to JDA Construction, who are also incredible) and worked hand-in-hand with them so that our project was completed as quickly and smoothly as possible. Every time we spoke with someone at Premier about the construction of our system, that person exuded knowledge and professionalism.

(Also need to shout out JJ Environmental who did our abatement project. They were fast, friendly, and worked with us on our very tight schedule. Highly recommend.)

One of the issues we had with the other vendors we received quotes from was regarding expected system output. One of the other (larger) solar providers in particular was using panels that had a lesser warranty, lower output, and lower expected output % over the life of the panels than what I wanted. Premier was able to provide panels that met my requirements for these things, as well as design a system for us that generated enough power to make sense for us.

Another area in which Premier shined brightly was in keeping us abreast of all incentives we’d qualify for with our new system. These incentives were conspicuously absent from the quotes we received from other vendors. One other vendor in particular offered to give us these incentives when I compared their quote to Premier’s… which for me only reinforced my leaning toward Premier and the transparency of their entire process.

The killer app for us though was how Premier provided recommendations for and handled our financing. They recommended Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union, who was able to offer a (relatively) low-interest option as part of their Solar Loan program. I can not emphasize enough how much of a difference this made in our payments when compared to every other institution I reached out to. To keep our entire project within the framework of this loan, Premier worked with the vendors and allowed them to invoice Premier who then invoiced Puget Sound CCU. This setup even allowed us to bring our vermiculite abatement team into the project fold seamlessly. This could have been a giant mess but Premier handled it with aplomb.

Final bonus: by my calculation, we finished $15 under budget. Remember this was a multi-vendor project with a budget in the mid tens of thousands, spread out over a few months - in other words, for them to have been this accurate throughout the entire process is IMHO nothing short of a miracle.

In summary, I can’t say enough good things about the team and process at Premier Solar NW. What I can say is that we’re very happy with the final product. And given the way Premier goes about providing their product, I’m confident that anyone else considering a solar project should give them a call.

Premier Solar has been extremely great to work with. From sales to service. We bought back in 2016 and the company has always been responsive when contacted (a few questions over the years). We have had only one issue (an inverter malfunction) and they fixed it promptly. We recently had to have our shingles replaced. They were able to quickly fit us into their schedule to remove and install back the panels. We highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with every aspect of Premier Solar Northwest, from the Sales Presentation, to the final installation. Everything went smoothly and efficiently just as I was promised by everyone in the company. They explained all the incentives, arranged all the financing, obtained all the necessary permits and completed the job as promised. The installation crew arrived on time and worked very hard all day in the rain to get our system installed in just one day. I could not have asked for a better experience. After obtained bids from 5 different solar companies, we were glad we went with Premier Solar Northwest, they are truly the best.
