Disappointed is my best use of word I could think of to describe my experience with your company. I had 4 companies bid the same job your company looked at and all others came in $2000 less than your company bid.... None of the companies saw leaks... No others told me I needed to do as your tech full of conviction told me I needed. I am upset because my folks have a 10% value package with you and I believe if I review the scope of work you have done for them I will find overcharges made to this 80 year old couple... My parents...

They ordered a part for me. I think it was a valve. The part was available, cheap. I remember the total price was like a $180, which I thought was pretty extravagant for what was involved. We were unfamiliar with it, we didn’t want to bother with it, so they did the job. When I go back to them again, I’d probably look very, very closely because I don’t think they provided that great of a value. We pulled a motor out of a jacuzzi. If we had more time, we could have ordered the part and then installed it ourselves for peanuts, as opposed to the $180. I thought it was pretty outrageous for what was involved, but we were happy because we needed it, and it took quite a while for them to get the part. I don’t know what was going on there. I could have ordered it from the manufacturer and I knew we could have gotten it within four days. My experience with Ravinia was overpriced and probably would not go back to them again, unless I really was in a jam and they were the only ones that could provide whatever. I was unimpressed, unimpressed. I would say they are a C company. They just had to take a valve and insert it into the motor. It took a long time to get the part, like three weeks, two-and-a-half weeks or so.

I always have a positive experience with them. They take care of the plumbing side of things. They did an estimate, and they also found where this water spigot was coming into the house. We couldn’t find where it entered and why it wasn’t working, and they took care of that. Overall, I'd give them an A+ rating.

Ravinia's electricians did some work for me. I'd give them an A+.

They came in for a pipe, it was a slow drain. They cleaned it out. They've also done electrical work for me in the past, and it was good. I'd give them an A down the board. They were friendly and helpful. They got the job done. They came out pretty quick, so I really didn't have any gripes. I'd recommend them.

We had a plumbing backup that they took care of for us. He was punctual. He was clean. He was timely. Ultimately the outcome was not what we were hoping for. There was a problem that was much bigger than we expected, what we thought it would be, and we would have to tear up the floor to really go fix it, so we're just rolling the dice and waiting till the next time it gets backed up. The plumber who came and dealt with it, we were very satisfied with him. I'd give them a B+.

Some big, some small, they've always done well. I had no complaints at all, they do a good job. I had electrical too, and now my heating and cooling guy are Ravinia now. Every experience I had with them was very good, I would grade them an A. I would recommend them.

We've used them for quite some time, for not just this home but for another property as well. They simply come out when you need them, if you need them in a pinch, they'll come and help you. If you schedule something ahead of time, they're great for that as well. They're just on their game every time. They do a lot, actually. A while back they paired with some other company; I think they combined. So they have plumbing, they have H-VAC, they have electric—they have it all, and we've used it. We started just using them for the plumbing, and then they were so good with that, we stopped using the other services we had and went with them. A+—they're just that good. I just recommended them to somebody else that was looking for someone in the Wilmette area. I said, ‘Oh, I know some people.’

The man came to fix what was broken. They did what I expected them to. It was a disposal. I would give them an A+.

They did do the job, but I don't think I would call them again. They basically made a federal case out of a $30 part and charged me x amount of dollars for a service call—made a time limit out of it, made it a three or four day, five day project—when they could have got the project on the Internet in twenty four hours. I had to keep calling. They came right away. They're a mile away from my house, and they definitely came right away. They were good at cleaning up after themselves. It was exceptionally great. The guy was professional. His attitude was professional. He estimated everything in advance, succeeded to do everything, and charged what he said he was going to charge. I'd give Ravinia Plumbing & Heating Co. an A+. Everything the guy did was great.
