Riemco Design + Build has a robust and detail-oriented approach to construction that, in my opinion, is unrivaled in the industry. First and foremost is their engagement as a partner: they bring the team together with the client early in the process and lay out the process and which team members you will be working with at each stage. Setting this foundation made the build process much less stressful than any previous experience I have had. The professionalism and attention to detail from every member of the team is exceptional. They proactively reach out throughout the project to check on different aspects, share updates, and suggest approaches to different challenges that come up. On the occasion there was a question or concern on my end, the team was immediately responsive and worked tirelessly to make sure I was comfortable with the approach and solution. And the end result? My kitchen and bath remodel in a 120+ year old home, is beautiful and functional, and the attention to details that respect that style and age of the home are more than I could have imagined possible.

Many people have asked about the work being done at our since this year, especially if we were pleased with the end result. Our answer has always been, "how much time have you got? We could go on for hours about how pleased we are with entire experience."

Riemco has been amazing to work with though our design process. Designing our dream home has been incredibly streamlined and fun! They have mastered breaking down a huge (and somewhat daughting) undertaking into manageable & efficient bite size pieces that have led to an amazing overall project!

They did another project for us in 2006 so we have been satisfied with their work two times.

Riemco remodeled two of our bathrooms. While we encountered a few unavoidable problems due to the availability of supplies, Riemco did an amazing job of keeping the job on track and actually finishing ahead of schedule. We appreciated the attention to detail that was given to our project by Ron. He kept us informed and frequently stopped by to check on the progress. Peter came up with a beautiful design that met our needs perfectly. The tile work in both bathrooms is incredible. We are so pleased with the results and would highly recommend Riemco to anyone.

End to end, just a great team to work with and excellent quality. We really don't think we could have built this home with any other builder. Particularly all the custom cabinetry work, stairs, and outdoor spaces. Riemco has done a lot for us to help us really realize a dream.

The Riemco team has been a great team to work with on our renovation/addition project. Overall, we are happy with the additional spaces, layout, updates and workmanship on our home. The upgrades, improvements in energy performance and comfort have far exceeded our expectations. While we worked closely together as a team for an extended period of time to optimize plans, we learned during the construction phase of the project that some aspects would have benefited from more extensive upfront definition and planning to better meet expectations. As this was our first remodel/addition experience, we relied on Riemco's experience/expertise to identify and address such items.

For us, the fall of 2019 was the beginning of two remodeling projects that we wanted to have done to our 1992 lake house and we were fortunate enough to hire Riemco to handle both of those jobs for us. The first remodel was to replace a 400 sq ft old wooden deck on our second level using Trex products. This wasn’t a simple deck redo as they also installed a roofing barrier between that deck and the screened in porch below it. This project took place over November/December while we were away during the winter. Everything was handled professionally and meticulously and we never had a worry about this entire outdoor project being done without us physically available on site. From the start with working with architect, Peter, to the finish working with Ron, the construction manager, it was a seamless enterprise. Prior to the work on our deck, the initial process of our kitchen remodel commenced in September/October and that was a pleasant experience working, once again, with Peter and interior designer, Lauren, on developing and formulating a new kitchen for our place. It was a very easy process working with those two in not just picking a design, but choosing all the elements that make up a brand new kitchen. So, once the deck project was completed, the demolition of our old kitchen began in February and initial roughing in of various services happened and then........COVID hit in the middle of March. Well, needless to say, through no fault of their own, Riemco had to abide by the law and everything was put on hold for the next two months as far as work within the house was concerned. The Riemco team was still working online to make sure future products that would be needed for our kitchen were being ordered so that there’d be very little down time when MI opened back up for construction business. Once again, we were not living on site most of the project time so we put our total trust in Riemco to oversee our shuttered house, too. To make a long story short...Riemco estimated 3 months for our kitchen project and that’s about what it was (excluding COVID closure time). I’d like to once again, thank Rob, Ron, Peter, Lauren and all their contractors for the great work that they did making my dream lake kitchen come true. I could not be happier with the results.

Areas Of Satisfaction - The project management was impressive. They kept things on schedule and maintained an excellent construction site throughout the process. The entire construction was both on time and on budget. They were also extremely accommodating to us. We ended up living in a camper, on site during the last two months of the construction, and Riemco facilitated special sewer, water and electrical hookups to let us hook up our camper.
