You could hire a less expensive roofer, but you wouldn't be sure the work is done right and wouldn't have Russell's good service. With Russell, I didn't worry about the quality of the work, and now I sleep soundly knowing my roof is sound and water tight.

We're pleased with the work so far. Time will tell how the roof wears, but no problems so far. The jury is out on the replacement skylight, which is very different from the one it replaced. I had expected a major upgrade, but it's not clear that it is so far. We'll know more as the weather warms.

Excellent work and customer service

The work itself on the roof was excellent. We are sure the roof is going to last a lifetime. The experience with our salesperson/project manager, however, was often - and remains - stressful and uneven.

Russell did an extremely effective job in my roof replacement. Everything was done in a timely fashion and the site was left neat and tidy Pete, the Project Manager kept me appraised before hand as to what to expect and the outcome speaks for itself.

Well thought out planning and design on a complicated roof. Creatively considered different ways to handle bumps, curves etc on our difficult roof. After considering many competitors, we decided to go with Russell Roofing because they were able to develop a plan for venting the roof and not “we will see when we get there” approach. In addition, Russell Roofing was able to be up front and transparent about costs of the “worst case scenario” of the plywood decking, something the competitors were unable to do.

Communication: I always got a call, text, or email back with updates, response to questions. This is something I found to be rare and unusual in the roofing world. I appreciate their professionalism.

NO. Look at your documents carefully. I feel that I was misled by the project manager. On a previous job, I had a great project manager who had everything in order. Single and elderly ladies should have someone with them when getting the explanations and paperwork so as not to feel taken advantage of.

In all my life I’ve found value not price to be the best choice. I am delighted with the value Russell Roofing delivered for both roof replacement and building a new back porch for our home.

Maybe, with a very big caveat. Russell gives themselves outs on almost every aspect of the job, but they are not happy or pleasant when the shoe is on the other foot. Your GM is extremely rude and not customer friendly or pleasant.

They weren't cheap, but they got it done quickly. I was really impressed with how quickly they made a new roof happen, old roof stripped right down to the rafters, redecked and reshingled in two days. These guys have the logistics wired. And because I had what we thought was an active leak, they bumped me to the head of the line. And I like their guys, Josh and Dominic and the rest.
