It’s not a question of ‘likely to recommend Strite design + remodel’. We highly recommend Strite design + remodel. I am a perfectionist in our family, obsessed with details and cleanliness. Strite design + remodel exceeded my expectations of thoroughness and cleanliness from the beginning of the design stage to the completion of the project. The plans, description of work and remodel agreement were complete and accurate. Prior to starting, we had a pre-construction meeting where we were presented with a detailed project notebook complete with plans, description of work, remodel agreement and tabs for the weekly reports, calendar, (job schedule), specifications and billing statements, as well as a list of trades and vendors, contact information and their job responsibilities. The Project Manager, Production Coordinator and Design/Architect were all at the meeting, making sure our concerns were addressed prior to the start date and that we were all on the same page.
This commitment to meeting our expectations, as mentioned above, continued throughout the project. Written weekly reports keeping us informed and addressing our questions were provided. Hence, we are elated with the entire process and, the ultimate result, our beautiful, functional, new Primary Bathroom.

I would recommend Strite for their professionalism, access to a good contractor and subs who show up on time and stay with the schedule and their quality work. If I could have changed anything about the process it would be the design and planning. I would have either asked for more hours in the budget for design or hired my own designer prior to starting the remodel. The Strite designer was very nice and knowledgable but I was disappointed that she never came to my house to see the style of our home and give suggestions. She met me to choose the tile, flooring and cabinets but not the lighting or plumbing fixtures and we still went an hour over budget. She also did not have my budget numbers or my measurements when we met but I did have my copy of the drawings in my car. That planning period in our remodel process was the most confusing for me. Ultimately we ended up with very nice results. I was happy with how everything came together. All of the subs who came to our house were nice, their work was excellent, the Strite contractor was great and we stayed on schedule.

I loved having Eric as my single POC and project manager. He took care of everything and I never had to deal directly with the contractors that were doing work on my house.

I've used Strite on three projects: a basement remodel, a garage remodel, and a bathroom remodel. In each instance the work they did was of excellent quality and professionally done. They worked quickly and consistently from beginning to end of each project, with excellent communication between Strite and I and between Strite and subcontractors (including plumber, electricians, painters, and tile installers).

I have done 2 different remodels with Strite and would use them again. Their design team is amazing at putting ideas into reality. Communication was exceptional; we knew what was happening every day and we were always able to communicate directly with our project manager. Materials were of exceptional quality, and all their contractors were polite as well as true experts in their fields.

I used Strite for a smaller job, opening up some doorways in my kitchen and dining room and adding structural support for my 1909 kitchen floor that had a 1 1/2 inch drop to one side. What I noticed most about working with them was what was missing. I didn't have to worry, be bothered about their leaving a mess, or have uncomfortable conversations quality. I wish life was always like this.

Michael is a strong communicator and designer--works with the era of the house.

We have nothing but good things to say about Strite. Will definitely tell anyone who asks that we would use them again.

After some extensive research, we decided on Strite for the major remodel of our newly purchased fixer-upper. We could not have been happier. Strite delivered exactly what they promised in the most professional and timely manner. From the initial design (thank you, Michael and Sara), to the construction, to the finishing touches, we were continually impressed by the efficiency and knowledge of everyone involved. As with nearly every remodel, we encountered some unexpected issues, but the team of Strite was able to quickly and efficiently deal with and resolve them. Having worked in Historic building preservation in Germany, my standards were pretty high. Strite met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Bob, Carl Jon, Jaman, Matt, and everyone else involved!

Our project manager was very helpful and did a lot of extra work for us at our house (fixing holes in the drywall, paint touch-ups, etc). He interacted really well with our young children and we felt comfortable having him in our home. The finished product is amazing! We love our new laundry room, shower, and mud room. It has really changed the way our house functions for us. We have some other projects we want to do in the future and we will definitely use STRITE.
