We love the new roof but the guys left a awful mess in our gutters.

Our Solarshield roof was quite expensive up-front, but should last at least twice as long as a conventional roof (maybe 3x), saving money long term. We should also see energy savings. I've already noticed our attic temperature is lower than it was last May.

Could not be happier! The crew that did the work were quick and efficient! The only thing that slowed them was the temperature (the nail guns kept freezing) and a slight mis-read for supplies (they were short on the number of 1x4's needed which required a trip to the local shops to obtain), nothing they could have prevented. Clean up was great! The same for the crew that did the gutters! Very polite and worked with me when I had little things to shift.

The work was completed in two days, very neatly and looks nice. Metal shingles have bold image.

They dropped off the metal on December 3,2020 and were going to start December 5,2020 but the contractor ran into problems at another job and didn't start until December 16 or 18 and what the owner told us would be a 2 or 3 day job was stretched out to almost 6 weeks. There are several pieces of broken siding and trim laying on the ground because it was not put back on correctly, the metal work around the chimneys is something a 3 year old could have done, the end pieces on the corners is a very sloppy job, they left the white siding a mess with hand prints all over it, the chimney is still not grouted, pieces of the ice and snow barrier are not fastened to anything, and along the edges the metal is all waves and sticking up for leaves and everything else to get under and rot. All I'm told when I call is we will take care of it but 4 months later, nothing. If it's not repaired to our satisfaction shortly I will be contacting the better business bureau and filing a complaint. We spent $31,750 on this project and we are completely disappointed.

Solarshield provided the roof we wanted with no hidden costs or issue. They communicated and planned materials well. I appreciate the craftsmanship of the final product!

My roof was never finished. The mistakes were never fixed. My daughter slipped and fell on the ice that is from the NEW gutters leaking at the seams. The materials for my back porch room are still laying on the porch area. I have moved them countless times. They look terrible. There's a hole under the NEW roof where birds live, and poop all over my front porch. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Did very nice work. Completed the job in one day, including stripping the old roofing material. Cleaned up very well. Nice, polite crew.

1.Nearly the entire length of the back porch roof leaks against the house. 2. The flashing around the chimney leaks. 3. They broke a storm window in the front of the house. 4. They nailed materials to the neighbors roof. 5. Backyard, where Maxine's great-grandchildren play, full of nails pulled during the shingle roof tear-off. THREE MONTHS AND SEVERAL CALLS LATER NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT ANY OF THIS. THE VIRUS IS THEIR EXCUSE. THE VIRUS DIDN'T KEEP THEM FROM DOING THE ROOF AND GETTING PAID, BUT IT PREVENTS THEM FROM MAKING THINGS RIGHT FOR AN 86-YEAR-OLD WIDOW OF A WWII VETERAN? SHAME ON YOU SOLARSHIELD, SHAME ON YOU.

Too expensive, wrecked plants, and did a shoddy job on the corner of our soffet.

We have nothing but good things to say about the company. You came when you said you would, and did the whole job in only a few days. The workers were respective and efficient, you cleaned up after yourself and left the home looking much better than when you arrived.

I have looked at homes in my neighborhood that have the metal roofs. Not all done by this company. I find flaws with my roof like gaps where insects or critters can enter and exposed wood. They were to paint my chimney and did try but it looks terrible. I cannot physically get on the roof to spray paint it. Where the roof meets my porch awning it bows runs down like a waterfall when it rains. Never happened prior to the new roof. I’m so disappointed and upset at all the money I spent.

They are great. They are fast and they know what they are doing.

After a year I wish I would have done it myself. For the money that was spent I feel it should be better. I was told by the salesman that the caulking on the joints was impervious to mold. It isn't. The floor that they stated was so strong has a soft spot from the drain to the center of the floor. I redid the bathroom in our old home and never had any issues and that was 30 years ago. Yes it took a while to do but I didn't have a spongy floor. I won't call them again unless the floor starts to leak.

Had a metal roof stalled. SolarShield seems to be a reputable company and appears to be serious about customer satisfaction. There is a piece of roof edge trim that isn't quite right. They offered to replace it when they have another roof job with the same color.

The crew that came to install was efficient, fast, and had it done in one day. I didn't get the discounts itemized and I didn't get the gift cards that were advertised on T.V. He measured and said that I had 17 squares but I went out and measured and I got 15 1/2 squares. He was charging nine-hundred or something dollars per square so I asked him and he said well you will have some waste. I realize that I would have some waste but I don't think I would have a square and a half of waste.

I would recommend them to everyone because they did a good job.

The metal roof & gutters improved the house immensely but didn't care to be made to decide a decision the same day. The installers did a good job installing the roof & gutters but didn't clean up very well afterwards.

If they wanna pay a high price then I would recommend them.

I was surprised at how quick they put the roof on. I was amazed that they could get the whole roof done in one day and then they came with the gutters and that was done in a couple of hours. Everybody was very kind and caring about what we thought of it.

I think the shower is very nice and attractive, unfortunately, it was not finished.

It is really nice that you can sit down and they do the loan for you. You don't have to deal with that. They even do it in the winter. We have a strong roof that doesn't leak. They are very reasonable.
